Fender Showman amplifier from 1968 full resurrection

Like most of my Fender amp rebuilds, this started out as a long neglected, orphaned chassis only. I got it from a sound company warehouse when I was buying a wrecked Ampeg B15 in similarly bad shape. This is the first Showman amp I've seen locally, so I was keen to restore it.

Don't forget the sheet of aluminum shield that goes under the top of the head to help completely enclose the chassis to minimize hum. Great video and restoration work. Look forward to more videos!

Ooh I forgot to show that, but I substituted the alum sheet with strips of wide alum tape. I use the tape because I've had an awful time with the sheets rattling against the chassis in the combo amps.

@@jothanankrogh I still have to rip out the sheet I have in my jtm45. It makes a horrid racket, lol
