I really like the new skybox, although it seems the clouds a bit fast yet. The lone BTR might be a Battalion detachment from the Air Defense platoon with Manpad soldiers.
Somehow that automated gaze turn when radio reports on next target reminds me of one simulator what I got to tryout with real tank’s controllers. 😅 It was at Finnish military expo over about two decades ago at most. 🤔 I think it was called ”Steel Beast” or something similar…
Wow it's interesting to see this mission done by someone who knows how to play, lol. I did this mission (badly) like a dozen times last night, and never managed to win. When you are saying the BMPs are "close" I'm just thinking "LOL naw, that's far. 40m is close."
I don't think any M2 gunner would try HE on a Hind. Like you said, the trajectory would make it very difficult. And since the Hind has armor around the crew compartment, AP is definitely preferable. Thankfully, they load you up Sabot heavy for this mission. Hopefully in the future they do a mix for the M2 Platoons. Doctrine from this time stated that one vehicle per section ( 2 Bradleys per section, 2 sections per platoon) would be Sabot heavy (230 Sabot/ 70 HE) and the other vehicle would be the reverse
