@@FeniexIndustries Do you offer something that is not so complex to run a 50” light bar, four 3” led flood lamps along with ten led rock lights? With my current setup I have to carry up to four remotes to operate them independently along side my vehicles key fob. Not to mention the inside the cab switches situation....
@@inverted311 yes! Depending on how many individual circuits you want the Feniex mini will give you 6 separate circus, or the 4200 will give 14 I believe. Just make sure to not exceed 3.5 amps per circuit, or use relays if you do! Let me know if you have other questions!

It will be $1300 and is suppose to sync all the quad products including the new surface mounts that are coming out ... right now the quad converter does not sync other and alike quad lights on the same or multiple quad converters ... I know personally I got 4 quad 800s and 60 inch quad bar quad interior and 10 quad surface mounts and 20 dual color cannons waiting on a install
WHAT. THIS. IS. INSANE. Of course you drop this a week after I pick up a typhoon full function. That OBD2 integrated trigger is exactly what I want because I have auxillary lighting that I would like to have triggered by certain vehicle component activations. I'm sure this is well above and beyond the budget of your average first responder POV setup but the possibilities are endless!
@@FeniexIndustries you do have a business. And businesses require some sort of profit if they want to do more than just keep the lights on. Innovation requires cost. I get that. I probably won't have a need to upgrade to this for years. I started with a 4200 mini and a storm pro, now a typhoon. Full function and maybe I'll find an excuse some day to upgrade once again to something like this. But the typhoon was a considerable step up for me and I absolutely love your control systems. I recommend them to everyone and have used them on a few installs for people as well.

I have been waiting SO LONG for a vehicle to vehicle sync ability. And to add the surface mounts in to the quad controller!!?!?!? This is everything! This is Awesome! I cannot wait to get my hands on one! my '14 Mustang is gonna get this as soon as I can afford it. I am BLOWN AWAY. It's literally like you read my mind.

Kinda glad I've procrastinated on installing my 4200DL in my personal vehicle. I need those serial QSM asap though! My last quad build would have been so much better with independent control of all 4 colors.
I tried to attend the webanaire today but I was not able to get acesses by phone and had to drive so I could watch either. I do look forward to seeing more information as about it as a authorized distributor.

But does it have Bluetooth? As someone who works industrial safety and security, I love my 4200DL with the Bluetooth module. And I don’t think I could handle living without the ability to control the lighting and power systems I’ve got remotely.
Will it have an option for the siren to be controlled by the horn on the steering wheel for a true hands free mode? I’ve always wished for that in my Feniex controllers

A message board option should be made. It would cut out the need for third party controllers for a message board, or special config done to incorporate it. You should also make your own message board. Right now FedSig and Code 3 are the only brands I know that make message boards.
Re: Vehicle to vehicle flash pattern sync - careful with this one... Remember the zebra (yes, the animal). With multiple vehicles in a chain on a pursuit, the cars may blend together for non-involved drivers. This could in theory increase crash risk as people who see the first one may not process visually that there is a second one. Anecdotally, this happens all the time with two sirens running the same tone in a city setting. All the lights on multiple vehicles moving in different directions would make it a nightmare to pick out one vehicle from another. It's a neat trick for parades though (or say escorting a VIP with panache), nothing makes a group of vehicles look sharp as having the exact same setup in sync. Definitely do a parade mode!!! It would be good if this could be integrated with an EMTRAC or Opticom GPS infrastructure and a local mesh network so that vehicles could coordinate a what I'd describe as a "dissonant flash pattern or siren tone". Glad to see the serial bus lightheads coming to life - now publish the protocol as FOSS so everyone can consolidate around your architecture ;-).
The only frustrating part is that we just bought a bunch of your queue at Sam’s and 600 and 800 sticks, and no find out that there are cereal version which we would prefer using with this controller, is there a way to exchange?
So does this mean the serial controlled surface mounts will sync with the lightbar? I can't imagine how cool the multi vehicle sync will be, just imagine parades!
Wonder how long it'll take for someone to hack into the system and turn lights and sirens on. On another note, since this device plugs into the OBD port, could it turn the vehicle off? This would be a useful feature if the vehicle was stolen. I know such outboard devices exist, but not in a all in one system, to the best of my knowledge.
That's awesome but Whelen has the CenCom Core which does just about everything and includes V2V sync. What would be the benefits of the Feniex One vs the CenCom Core?

Is this going to get multi-level logic like the Whelen Core? IE: If Drivers door is opened, turn off lights on drivers side but resume lights when door shuts.
Noticed you mentioned "Phoniex One" so seems likely there will be 2 controllers coming out? I can't wait for the Feniex One to come out with all the pricing information!
While this is kind of cool it has one HUGE inherent flaw, daisy chaining is a big no no. If one wire gets damaged the rest of the system goes down. Leaving them with maybe even the whole system down instead of one circuit with two lights. Not to mention Whelen has been doing the OBD2 interface for some time now, albite not as in depth with the vehicle systems. I do like their products though and nice thinking outside the box. I have big doubts this will catch on in the industry.
I’ll probably still end up ordering one but I really wish they wouldn’t have included a build in siren. 90% of my use cases didn’t want a siren, and I don’t want to pay for i when they don’t need one.
