Finally got my fully Feniex Industries LED warning light build just about complete. All amber lighting with white front/rear flood. In this video I do a walk thru of my set up. Let me know what you think! Thanks! 👍🏼
Looks like a great installation for all of the amber lights that you installed and I like your fused installation. I like where you installed your amber lights on your vehicle and on the windows. What was the approximate cost for the lights and installation of the wiring? I am retired and trying to learn how to farm. I am a volunteer firefighter and have been looking at the amber lights and how to install them on my recently purchased 2023 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 LT, my truck is the same blue color as yours, it’s a great color choice.
How and where did you take the wires outside the cab? I was thinking of putting most of that behind the back seat because I have some tools and lock out tool under seat. come up to indiana and do mine like this..lol
Nice install! No such thing as too much attention to detail when it comes to plotting wiring. Is there a setting in programming for the 4200 DL to turn on the display LEDs at the top of the controller when attached to a Quad 800?
Go into the light bar tab and select and arrow stick direction or center out for a given button and the 4200 LED's will display that function, even without a light bar connected via data cable.
Very clean setup! Just wondering in the back bumper for the fusions, why dont you just surface mount right to the plastic back? Were you unable to see the lighthead?
Thanks! That was the original plan! But an oversight on my part, the fusions were too wide for the space available, they didn’t sit flush at all and would have looked horrible. I didn’t want to switch back to T3’s (I actually had T3’s in there before surface mounted) so I ended up installing them how I did.
Looks great. Unfortunately I just found out that there is no way to jump directly to different colors; you have to cycle through all the color modes. That's fine if you only need one warning color, but if you want to do everything shown here and also assign a button on the 4200 to swap blue or red for the amber without cycling, you are out of luck. Same goes for pattern; you're stuck with just one per overall mode. And it seems impossible to wire 400/800 lightsticks such that they all behave identically, even when the input is identical, which is just bizarre. So I'm stuck trying to make something the client ordered do things it was never designed to do. And the client is always right, so wish me luck. If you can think of a way to do it, I'd love to hear it.
Hey man, I know this was 4 months ago and don’t know if you get back to me but I just have to ask since majority of my set up is fusions and T3’s. How did you get the T3’s on the side to do multiple moods? Like the first mode was steady burn and the second one flashed. I have the 4200 mini controller and don’t know if it’s just capable of you doing that on the controller you have or something else, as I didn’t know the T3’s can be used with more than one mode.
I did this by putting them all on steady burn and hooking them up to output 1 & 2 (wig wag) on the 4200DL controller. For mode 1 the steady burn I used headlight override and mode 2 used the wig wag flash pattern. Basically the controller thinks they are my head lights.
@@plummzzz good to know about brightness. I had thought about it myself but needed to hear a second opinion on brightness. Haha back to the drawing board
@@cass1113 a good alternative to the cannons, if the surface mounts are too big is the T3’s those fit in there perfect, that’s what I had in there before!
