Also one of the major reasons for floats in msfs is the misaligned glideslopes and papis on pretty much every single airport. Next time you do a landing, see where you actually are when you hear the 50ft RA call out. Chances are you will be a fair bit down the runway rather than just crossing the threshold….

Yes, I noticed this too and find it very annoying as well. It is one of those things where MSFS/Asobo says “not our problem” pointing to the airport addon makers. Those are in return blaming MSFS/Asobo.

Yep…from 300 ft I just visually fly and completely ignore the papi lights etc.

@@jay-rus4437 yeah same. Though I always get scared when the weather is bad and I’m not visual until just before minimums, I’ve no idea where the glide will bring me!

Hi BB. Thanks for bringing this issue to the attention of Fenix. It is great to see how quickly they came out with a solution to your issue and the many other items that they were made aware of after the Block 2 release. I can't wait to get my fsprojects Airbus grip and gaiter which should arrive within a week as it just shipped. It took several months to ship from the time the order was placed, but some things are worth waiting for and I believe the wait and cost will be worth it. As always, your videos are excellently produced and informative.

Thanks for the insides. I noticed the same behavior when slamming it into the ground at Heathrow with config 3. I still prefer the flightdynamics of fbw, because you can dose your inputs much better.

It’s because MSFS has wrong parameters as developers r struggling with injecting the real life airbus or Boeing parameters into the sim. Watch Robert Randazzo CEO of PMDG speaking about that in his last live broadcast.

Do you understand that the joystick settings could be programmed in the flight model, which would have made it possible to not have to do any joystick settings, except assignee?

I did notice that even as a professional pilot that you could not keep the aircraft on the centre line. It always goes right. Do you have any explanation for this please? It really bugs me. Sometimes it goes really far right and it’s a mess.

The ground steering remains an issue with pretty much all aircraft addons in MSFS. This has to do with the messed up basic ground friction model in MSFS.

It is so much easier for me to land a B737 than an A320. Airbus is so sensitive. I struggle a lot in crosswinds or turbulence.

Airbus should be flown by single-discrete inputs, whereas 737 is flown by continuous control and inputs. Once I understood that, I can land both smoothly so long as I’m used to each type, because they are so different.

I am using FS Projects side stick with same settings as described. I don’t fly Fenix CFM as it always floats. But with IAE I cut the power around 50-40ft do flare and my muscle memory feels like flaring and landing like toilss A320’s (except the strong nose fall down of toilss) with CFM I can’t anymore with Fenix. ( may be not to touch stick after flare as I noticed in your video)

I am not the only real world pilot coming to the same conclusion that the FENIX floats to much. Of course you can also apply less flare and get a positive touchdown. Everyone as they please. But in the end it is a PC flightsimulation. And best advice is to practice the landings until you have found the best result.

@@Blackbox711 I don't know what's going on then, I'm not really flaring less than you are in the video by pitching up to close to 5 degrees and flaring between 30 and 20 feet and It doesn't really float much for me. Maybe it's because I'm using linear sensitivity instead of the - 20 recommended by Fenix? I don't really know what's going on

Hi. No, realistic setting is totally unrealistic because way too overdone. I use the lowest there but use an addon called “Realturb” to simulate turbulence.

Great video. One question, in your opinion wich is better in general, Fslabs or Fénix A320, I dont matter the sim, I would like to use to training in my home for my initial A320 training, so I would like which aircraft has most accurate systems. Thanks.

They are both very close in terms of system depth. Be aware that the more limiting factor is the FWC standard which is outdated in both versions. For training abnormal procedures I used also the app from usebeforeflight (usebeforeflight.com)

I don’t think so. Then there wouldn’t be such a difference between Flaps 3 and Flaps Full landings.

Yes, although it has improved, it is still not ideal. It behaves much better when we remove the engine and then perform flare. When, on ILS approaches, FLARE appears on the PFD, remove the engine and then perform flare after. You will see how it will be much more perfect, it comes with a lot of energy and when we round it off and remove the engine next to the “Retard” sign it will float a lot, it takes a long time to lose that energy and finally touch the ground, they need to improve this.

would love to see the cabin temp simulation worked on and at minimum cargo temp restored. agreed its a small part, but still..this isn't difficult to fix

You'll have a better chance of a reply if you post in English, like the rest of us are managing to. Google Translate can do this for you so there's really no excuse. Or do you expect the channel owner to translate messages for you?

The channel owner is german! Why do you think I wrote it in german? Because it makes no sense for one german to speak english to another german. I don't need google translate. ;) Not to mention that google translate has no chance against DeepL. If you want something translated properly you use that one. @@DavidR_192

Let me guess, this hotfix will "only be available on Discord", like their old icing fix. What about those who don't use Fenix..... there are quite a lot of us. [EDIT]: Oh hang on, by "hotfix" you mean the update that came out over a week ago???.
