Today we are reviewing the Fenix PD35 tactical LED flashlight. The pocket beast is only 5.4 inches long and weighs about 125g or 4.3oz depending on which battery option you are using. It has 5 outputs + strobe, waterproof, impact resistant, tough hard anodized aluminum body and scratch resistant glass lens so it's highly adaptable to whatever situation you are in. This makes it a great EDC (everyday carry) flashlight. It can easily out perform flashlights 10 times it's size.

The wide-angle walking in the woods footage is excellent, very few flashlight reviews include that kind of real life use, keep it up!

Very good job reviewing this flashlight! You could add real world experience battery longevity because I just charged mine for the second time a year after I bought it. It's on my rifle most of the time.

2014 version has 960 Lumens, and throws the beam 208m.

I have the Fenix PD35 tactical LED flashlight and it`s extremely bright. The version that I have has a rating of 960 lumens.

Great Video for a Great LED Flashlight ! UP graded my Fenix PD35 LED Flashlight with a reusable 18650 battery from the reusable Olight S20R or the Olight S30R that is tethered to the USB Port on the desktop computer. Picked up a couple of extra 18650 batteries with the Olight LED Flashlight... Then exchange the batteries as needed. tjl

Yes, for 11 bucks you can power your light... with an absolutely dreadful battery taken out of dead laptop cell sets and rebranded with ridiculously overstated capacity that won't ever push the PD35 past its medium mode. Ultrafire? More like Ultraswindle. For real quality in 18650s, get the rebranded Fenix, Nitecore, Olight, Thrunite, Keeppower, Orbtronic or AW. Everything else is either trash like I said, or doesn't have protective circuitry like stock Panasonic ones. The takedown at the head is likely to allow the user to clean the positive contacts. And the spring there means the PD35 can feed off flat-top batteries, which is wicked groovy!

Ultrafire 18650s are dirt-cheap. A top brand name 18650 costs around £10 to £14 each. Many people don't want to pony up so much cash.

Absolute crappy flashlight. Have purchased 2. One failed to work right out of the box. The other failed after 1 week of use. Customer service/warranty is a joke. Go with another brand!
