I start my night shift as a dispatcher at 9pm and get off at 6am and am pretty tired by the end of my shift and this dude uploads 1- 2 videos by the time I'm off every day. This guy is out there every single day looking for people so we all can be inspired and see parts of the world we need to see that we don't. On top of that he's giving people money/etc. and a place to stay. There needs to be more people in the world like Mark

After watching some of these fentanyl attic’s, I see how badly this drug has invaded our country! I saw one person who died of an overdose. He was at my neighbors house, and I had just talk to them about a week ago when I first met him and my girlfriend came over here and told me to hurry up and get over to her house and she said, I think he’s dead is she wouldn’t get near him or touch him. She was spooked by it and I bent down and checked to see if his heart was beating. If he was breathing listening and looking in this guy was dead one of the 150 people a day that die from this drug! And that damn potato head running, our country has allowed this to happen, and I believe on purpose he is no different than sabotaging our country and youth just like China!! By allowing this deadly drug go in to Mexico, and allowing it to invade our country, and killing and destroying our young youth, who have great potential. By allowing the horrific out come in our American towns and large cities causing crime to be a thousand % times higher than it was a year and a half two years ago and climbing more every day that has affected the contamination of cities with feces needles, and our youth bent over, slumped over or laying over being strung out with this drug that is purposely being put in our country! It has made the crime so bad that businesses are closing down their stores and moving making the town’s and cities to fall! The homeless have increased 1000% times higher than it’s ever been probably even more than the depression. Yeah, I might be a little off on that, but it is so bad and our border is a direct result of this downturn of our country and our youth! We have been invaded and have lost all of our national security, and allowing this deadly situation to continue by our leader and his administration by refusing to acknowledge it by doing it on purpose, and not intending to fix it! Our government is a tyrannical and treasonous traitors!! Impeach Biden and Mayorkas and Christopher Wray and Garland Merrick or is it Merrick Garland from the homeland security!!! I hope and pray that Serio will find his way to sobriety. He has so much going for him!

It's amazes me the way the affects of Hurricane Katrina, in 2005, still haunts people in various ways. These hurricanes set people back if their houses or jobs go. But the emotional and mental health issues hurricanes bring about. Families splitting up, education difficulties, health issues. Very hard.

I just saw a special where charity was shut down post Katrina and after the hospital had been cleaned up and ready for patients…staff and military doing this but LSU had bigger ideas about getting money from FEMA and took the land and homes from people that had moved back to build a state of the art hospital and clinic. Just was overwhelming that intelligent people want to close down the biggest nonprofit facility for the poor and homeless… just hard to comprehend.

I appreciate what you have to say. The gross long-term effects of these natural disasters kick the heck out of families who can't recoup the emotional and physical safety zones they had. I hate the fact that our nation is not prepared for the aftermath - some nasty people believe out there are actually against social safety nets for those who need a hand-up and instead calls systemic help "hand outs". The ptsd that grips victims can be hell on earth. I never went through a natural disaster myself, but I sure have a lifetime of experience managing my own anxiety.

Cared SO PHUCCIN LITTLE about her he couldn't even use his brain while making her shots or wait 10 seconds for her to do it. @@DanielGwimbly-theGwimb-Larson I don't know. I heard all that too. But there is a bone weariness on his face that's not drugs. The more shit he does, the more weight he has to carry, until he either finds a way to set it down, or it kills him. I think he's nearly there. And anyway, I would prefer to show compassion instead of being judge, jury and executioner. I haven't walked a mile in his shoes. Serio seems to have a lot of awareness which isn’t common for folks in active addiction (coming from someone who used to live there) ..listening to him talk about his addiction, how it all started, where it has lead him, how he feels about the place he is in now was a very vivid picture and I appreciate his ability to paint that for us. I also appreciate his honesty about being comfortable in the chaos because I too have felt that way previously and it’s a very raw emotion for him to share with us.. Then pointing out your channels name and what it stands for - I just absolutely loved this interview.. Thank you for doing this, Mark. Seriously.. The biggest problem here is that he’s only 32 years old and has been to prison at least 4 times. Not for possession of drugs but for major violent felonies. And Los Angeles (actually California in general) is one of those places that invites drug addicts and homeless ( mostly one and the same). What happens in California and especially in Los Angeles county which has one of the weakest Soros-backed D.A.’s when a felony occurs? NOTHING! The POS is usually out on no bail before the paperwork is completed. If these drug addicts were locked up for some serious time, and I mean the MAXIMUM time, along with a drug rehab program, then at the very last TWO good things will come out of it. FIRST THING is that more of these drug addicts would actually be truly cleaned up and SECONDLY the crime rate in California might go down. The way things are going, if there’s not a huge change in our government, meaning a huge red tsunami, California will be one of God’s biggest disappointments. A beautiful state turned into a giant cesspool by mankind. What a damn shame!

Addiction stems from people not wanting to "feel" anything. This is where the disconnect comes into the equation. As hard as day to day survival can get, it would seem we are supposed to "feel" life, up to and including the hardships and heartache and suffering and pain. Idk why that is, but trying to numb yourself everyday just doesn't work. I know this because I survived addiction.

The whole time it seems like he has potential to change because he’s a smart guy, pretty put together, but that’s when you see how these people won’t change on their own. You can tell he still thinks of himself as a monster. He has accepted his legacy, as one of the many people who slipped through the cracks of society and became an addict, living in the community no one wants to acknowledge or accept. He has accepted his role as a “smoke and mirrors person” and is there until he succumbs to his illness. He knows he is a part of something bigger and he’s right. He’s a part of this truly horrible drug and mental health crisis that so many broken people fall victim to. It’s crazy he has acknowledged and accepted this. There’s no fight left in him.

I'm still struggling to get to it, knowing it's all in the journey and not necessarily the accomplishment or the shiny 🥕. I've had all that and it never made me truly happy. 70 months free and clear. Good luck bro!

☆CONGRATULATIONS☆ I'm genuinely happy for you! I recently lost my only son; he lost his battle with Fentanyl at 26 yrs old. Reading your comment gives me hope for those still battling drug addiction. Stay clean, stay alive; you're worth it!

Life is boring! The grind is boring! Once you can truly, I mean TRULY be good with boring...staying clean and sober ceases to consume your thoughts.

The worst things we did as teens was drink the fridge beer and "raid" mom and dad's liquor cabinet while they were away on business (Looking back, the parents knew exactly what was going to go down). 😅 We were good enough kids, though. Just danced and fell asleep drunk in the living room. I have NO IDEA how this guy was able to go on with a hardcore drug addicted mother

@eulenewages4644 that's not true. Many of those people became alcoholics and suffered from it. Alcohol is brutal and no different. It's a disease. Opiates, alcohol, benzos, meth, cocaine...it's all the same shit essentially. Alcohol is just controlled meaning it's consistent in its effects because it's legal. Heroin is now fentanyl mostly because it being illegal. Drugs being illegal is only making them MUCH more dangerous.

@Mark: What happened to Serio? Are you still in contact with him? Did you try to help him? Please keep us informed. I feel so sorry for him. I hope he gets some help.

This is an amazing interview 🌟 He is so self aware and has been through so much in His life. I love how You just let Him talk Mark 💖 I wish Serio peace and good fortune comes His way to get Him off of the streets 🤞🙏🍀💜🤗

What about the people he robbed....hmmm Serio has little time/regard for telling that part of his story, obviously little concern or empathy either. As I said in my prior comment...someday someone may surprise dear Serio with a gun in his face. Califonia's statute "Strong Arm Robbery" statute describes clearly. Serio admits and really boasts here in his presentation. He' s robbing people with force and intimidation to get more drugs and is here to stay. Openly admitting to felony conduct and doesn't plan to stop. The only person(s) I feel sorry for in this story are the people he's robbed and especially the young man/teenager in that elevator that goes to work has a job whatever...the people that have done nothing against him...his victims. How can you people praise this man, yes he's a 32 YO man not a child as many of you state. Yep, if this guy keeps going hmmm either back to prison or dead because you cannot continue attacking people and robbing them because you are a f***ed up person. Most of the people Mark interviews here have a heart and truly need help with addiction. This guy here is boasting about it and clearly states has no intentions to change it. This is disgusting.

One of the closest 'looks' into addiction I've seen. Hope this kid gets help - when he's ready.

No one ever loved this poor guy when you're treated as if your life doesn't matter, you never know that your life matters. It's a generational curse he carries. I know this video is somewhat old, but I pray he found his peace and his value and never looks back.
