I've been so fascinated by the reviews for this line. I have 3C, partially bleached hair and tried just the shampoo, treatment, and cream. my wash n go turned out great. I almost never use gel so I didn't bother with this one. I've seen some really bad results with this line. Hopefully she rolls out more products, similar to Pattern, with different textures, densities, etc in mind
You are correct and hit on all points. Definitely a disappointment with these products, especially for the price. You did a nice video on the Cecred hair products and I enjoyed the Fermented treatment and reconstructing treatment hair mask from that line. Thank you for sharing.

I'm super curious about the Fenty DC, but I keep hearing negative or mediocre reviews about this product line. From both the type 3 and type 4 girlies. I'm glad I didn't jump the gun. I'll buy the DC when it's on sale
Ima keep using my less cheaper product's that works in my hair. Thank for the review because I read other reviews on RiRi products an some said the same thing you just said. Plus I always mix my crimes an gels together first before applying just to make sure they blend 😂
I love your reviews. We have very similar hair textures and length. I knew it was a no for me when I saw the sizes ☺️ now I'm getting Cécred Sealing Lotion. I love the other products I purchased from Bey's line.
Honestly, I loved every product and I purchased all of them. I literally had the best wash n go I've had in a few months the first time I used it. And my curls were popping. Everyone's hair is different though...
This line has Ky vibes all over it. Such a pattern emerges when watching reviews from creators with pr opposed to creators who spend their own coin to do a review. It’s obvious who to watch if you’re looking for honesty. This was awesome of her to do cause these products are to expensive for anything other than the truth even if it’s coming from a huge celebrity that alone isn’t enough.
The style cream is a styler & not a leave in. What made you use them together? Also, the gel isnt for wash & go’s its to sleek hair into styles. It’s hard to find a review for this line where people actually read how to use the products. But have you tried just using 1 styler at a time? I’m curious how your hair turned out then.
I have both fenty and cecred. I will say the comeback kid as a leave in has shortened my wash days. I love that I can just shampoo and use the comeback kid and be done. I was skeptical because it seemed too simple, but my hair loves it.
To each their own, but I detect some hate in your review. The Fenty Hair products have been great for my hair. You already knew the gel and the curl cream weren’t supposed to be used together, but you mixed them together anyway. The fact that you claimed you didn’t want to compare Fenty Hair with Cecred, but did anyway, shows me how disingenuous this review is. You also give misinformation about the Comeback Kid not being a real hair bonding treatment.
Im so tired of being sold bs i don't need. Most of us don't need another hair product, we need access to food that isnt poisoning us, housing, mental health support, good education ect ect. Sorry for the rant... Your hair is so so beautiful btw
After 10 years of being natural and NEVER looking back! I'm so over trying new products. Especially these overpriced celebrity hair care lines. I don't think I've heard any good reviews on any of them, but what will never get old is watching people try them, that's always fun to watch.
Love this review and I’m hoping the line grows like Pattern did over the years. Pattern just did not work for my hair when it first dropped but now love it since they’ve come out with products that works for my hair. I’ll wait to see how the line grows.
I’m not surprised that people don’t like Rihanna’s hair care line. She never was repping team natural hair fr. So to come into the hair industry trying to “care” about peoples hair is wild. She doesn’t even know what we need. Her makeup and clothing brand made way more sense for her she always been a fashion icon and we could see that. She always loved makeup and we could see that too. But lets be honest wth is she doing coming out with hair care products lmfao Beyoncé’s hair care line makes more sense than this.
I would suggest you use the comeback kid as a leave in and mix/layer it with the gel. They mix well together and the comeback kid defines your curls similar to the cecred lotion. The deep conditioner is also better to use for conditioning than just the comeback kid. Most people follow up the comeback kid with the deep conditioner. I just think you need to find your mix. I tried the regular conditioner and hated it, but when I tried the deep conditioner it worked great.
I love your beautiful hair. Can I ask how do you do care for it to get that healthy and long? Are there any oils you recommend for parts that are missing hair around the edges?
Yea..I was curious but I definitely need a shampoo with slip. Having very long hair myself,doesn’t seem like the comeback kid is worth the money. My hair is growing back fast after my Covid shed so I just RevAir my hair and braid it. I don’t do edges and definitely wouldn’t pay all that money for one! Maybe I will try the conditioner if it comes to a store in the future.Thanks for the review!
So, I have watched quite a few videos and I saw that the gel was to be used for slick backs and my first thought was it can't be used for a wash and go. My assumption was right. The gel reminds me of Shine and Jam with a looser texture. So, it can be used for slick backs and for braiding. I am waiting until the Black Friday sale before purchasing the products. She is no longer affiliated with Sally Beauty. Are you planning to try them? To be honest, I have more confidence in her products than a lot of other products, because she knows about hair, but I love the Cecred shampoos and conditioners.

You definitely need to do the mix test before using products even though they're from the same brand. I don't assume this anymore. Had this happen to me with Mielle products too. I have seen ladies use the jelly alone for a WnG and get good results though. But that jar is so small someone with a lot of hair like yours will probably only get two uses out of it if that.

Comparing Cecred and Fenty which she did and admitted doing will just add to the stan war drama and make people not take her review seriously and question her intentions.
