As a former vocal singer under Dr Max Ferdinand, I am honoured to have gotten a lot of his life skills long before he attained international recognition. It was always in his bloodstream. Forever (Young 6).

He inspires me to be a choral conductor again! I love that he trains his choir to hear pitch without needing reference. I used to do that with my choirs. I am totally geeked right now! GEEEEEKED!!!!
Incredible choir and conductor.🎵Had the privilege of singing precious lord with the choir. Was a special experience. Hope to sing and be conducted by a conductor of this calibre and spirit one day.

19:06 through 20:40 is some of the best choral direction, asking the singers what they think, no qualitative critique, building those sections to show their role.. Truly inspiring

Soooo true! I’m trained in low brass but was hired as a choral director next year because I sing and play piano and have a teaching license. Been doing my homework to make sure my skills are strong enough to support the program next year and this is invaluable learning material.
The ' Crescendo' part of Haleluiah are in socket attaking production and the ' tessiture' in Negro Spiritual 'andante' and ' largo' very amazing, I used do that at Trentin Coir of Italians (Colatina city) at " Va Pensero" operistic chanting and vocalizes too. Pastor JBAlmeida.
