Ferguson 3T18 boombox repair 

This is a repair video to fix a fault on a Ferguson 3T18 boombox from 1982.
The fault is that the cassette tape deck is not working. The spindles, capstan and pinch roller are not turning.
Usual problem with these old 1980's decks is the rubber belt(s) need replacing. This one has a different problem, but after seeing the damage, I would expect this is also an issue that you are likely to see. A small clutch mechanism has failed due to a split plastic part.
I did fit a new belt as well even thought the old one was still working.
