This is the FERM SSM1005 Power Scroll Saw.
Ideal for high precision sawing of Plywood from 1 to 40 millimeter thickness and it allows you to cut in all possible directions.
It has a quick release function for easy saw blade exchange, a mitre and parallel guide for precision work, a professional dust blowing system for a clean working area, the working table is adjustable from 0 to 45 degrees and 10 saw blades are included.

Does this machine use plain end blades ? Any blade adapter for this machine?

The saw is powered by an induction motor, which is about the only good thing about it. It has, what is supposed to be, a quick blade change. This is fine if you are using pin ended blades. However if you a using plane ends the you have to remove 3 screws to allow you to insert the blade adaptor. This is a slow and painful process and makes a lot of internal cuts a non runner. Why oh why is there no dust extract? Why oh why is there no light? I will look more carefully the next time I purchase a scroll saw and would advise you to do the same.

Good scroll saw with cast iron build. Easy blade attachment for pin end blades but the blade adapter for using plain end blades which comes with the saw machine is a mess, I can't align the blades easily and have to readjust Everytime while tightening the blades with hex screws. I'll simply put my reviews this way. #Pros. -good build quality -very durable piece of equipment #Cons -not variable speed control - blade adapter for plain end blades sucks, I just wish there is a quick clamp and release function for saw blade adapter. Advice for God’s sake .... I bought a lot of products from them ..... As for quality, it is like the Chinese and all their products are made in China. The agency in the Netherlands does not have an authority to follow up distributors problems or after-sales service. There are no spare parts or maintenance especially in Egypt .... The vertical drill is bad and weak, and it feels like its refurbished However, there is no sealed guarantee upon purchase from Egypt branch think twice before you buy anything called FERM
