For those who doesn't know, before 2014 the team radios could be in every language, and every Alonso Team Radio with Ferrari was in Italian before 2014
S: "Button had DRS opened at the last lap, we lost only 2 d" F: "at the last laps i want all kers and all power, so tell me what i have to do" S: "ok" :)
S: "aveva avuto l'ala, quindi abbiamo perso 2 decimi al primo settore" F: "agli ultimi giri voglio: tutto kers e tuttto il power, quindi dimmi cosa devo fare" S: "ok"
I still don't get why Ferrari don't just speak Italian on the radio. I mean, both Charles and Carlos speaks it and most of the Ferrari crew is Italian. Italian people aren't the most fluent in english, so communicating in Italian will reduce any problem with language barrier or confusion. And plus, they can discuss strategy on the radio more freely since other teams will have a hard time understanding them.
Fucking agree, speaking in your native language might help a lot. I dont understand why ferrari engineers use english either, maybe they forbidden any language other than english for team radios?
@@werner9643for Carlos engineer it may make sense, but still, both understand english and there would be no miscomunication, for Charles's engineer, he's greek, so no helping in that.
