Hey Jeff, loving the series. In Germany on the Autobahn you have the so called "Rechtsfahrgebot" which means you must stay in the right lane at all times unless you are overtaking, which you are only allowed to do on the left. The far left lane is for fast cars/drivers only. People will honk at you if you constantly stay in the middle lane. Oh and please do a trip to Munich, my home town! Greetings
Rules of European motorways. Always keep to the outermost lanes unless overtaking (ie if you’re slow you always keep to the furthest right line). You get fined for hogging a lane (and rightly so)
That yellow sign in the bottom left of your map indicates that it's a "Bundesstraße" (kind of comparable to highways with the yellow markings in the US). Blue signs are for the "Autobahn" (interstate). The different colors, shapes and numbers make it really easy to travel in Germany.
You would be hated on for driving in the middle lane! Those are called Mittelspurschleicher by us in Germany. Those are people who just stay in the middle lane without the need to overtake or something. No one is allowed to overtake you on the right so you would just hold up traffic. This is just a tip to make you more aware of German rules and habits.
The first 1-3 letters of the licence plate indicate the city (B for Berlin, HH for Hamburg, M for Munich, etc) then you have 2 (random or customised) letters and then 2 to 4 (random or customised) letters.
The Fanfare is a different type of horn made to be heard at high speeds. If you sound the horn with the fanfare switch on the horn will be very different (Similar to a European police siren). Its typically only used in cases where brakes fail and the bus cant slow down, or if theres another emergency. In real life you can be fined for using it, but the game has no penalties related to it. Fun fact: On the entrance ramps to highways in the EU, you are expected to stop and yield when needed. Fun fact 2: Flixbus is a real company.

The yellow box with the 85 is the road you’re on. So called “Bundesstraße” basically translates to “federal road”. And the 85 is just the number it was given.
Jeff don't trust too much used product on Amazon, recently I bought the Apple BeatsX from Amazon, used, few things were missing in the box and the product itself didn't work properly.

I bought a “used” laptop. It was still in box to the only thing missing was the Velcro strap to tie up the power cord. Saved 400 bucks. I got real lucky.

I too am a musician (drums, keys and bass) The Yamaha MOXF8 is a sweet keyboard, it's a bit pricey($1,500) but it has everything you will need (sampled)!!
I agree with this too, this is my favorite driving sim game as I love attention to details like realistic maneuver, realistic road noises, realistic road incidents like car broken down on the side of the road and stuff, although there is some glitches but all in all this is amazing game to play specially if you have a steering wheel device with a gear changer stick and a VR man that would be a lot more fun but sadly I don't have those setup haha!! :D
Re: New keyboard - Have a look on Amazon for a Clavia Nord Stage 88. I have the Revision B from 2006. WONDERFUL instrument! Highly recommend Clavia instruments. Pricey but worth every penny.
The sign that’s white with a black cross means unlimited speed limit, but only on motorways in Germany. It just says 100 because that’s the max speed of your bus.
Jeff I found out some more things: You can click express check in on the online tickets and you can qr. Also passengers like the ac temp at 21 celsius. (Butchuered celsius)
Hey Jeff. For the euro truck sim for pro mods make sure you have all the dlcs and the updated version of pro mods. If you have all the dlcs you might want to check how many profiles you have cause some of them can crash the game
Also, man, do I enjoy you driving/playing simulator type games. If highway sounds are relaxing to you, you talkin about stuff keeps me interested and make me watch the entire video w/o pausing or skipping minutes. Awesome videos, love your content, keep up the awesome work you've been doin'.

The german taxis do have this yellow kind of color and that yellow sign, most of the time on the top. But the car model isn't really accurate, it should rather be like a Mercedes C-Class Also: The yellow 85 or whatever number is the “name“ of the street, if you're on the Autobahn it's blue and says some number. And: The roads in that game are not totally accurate, for example these ending lanes on the autobahn^^ I mean that would be deadly as f***. Imagine someone going 240kph and then his lane is just ending, hahaha. But yeah some is accurate but some stuff like that not. the yellow 85 means : Bundestrassse 85. that is like an motorway just slower(country road). Bundesstrasse 85 is like Autobahn A4(just slower). for example: you drive on the highway east 85(autobahn A4) and then you use the country road(however it is called) which is in Germany called Bundesstrasse( and then a number)
When the truck doesn't let him on the highway...Wow this is the most realistic sim ever! At least in the US, I don't know what it's like driving in Germany
Bought several reading books which I know that they are anywhere near the value of the keyboard that your looking at but they are still very good quality even though they are second hand / used
Holy hell the front seats at the top of the bus look amazing to ride on if not a little freaky for if the bus leans like it would in this game. Watching this I can't help but think about how nice it must not be to not have to worry about potholes every minute.
Really nice to see you driving these kinds of simulators, love it. And btw the passengers prefer a 22.5 degrees A/C. The yellow 85 is just the road number, just like route 377 i.e.. Oh and one more thing, you really should get the switzerland/austria DLC because they have some awesome mountain roads that you'd love.
Hey Jeff, I have bought something used off of amazon too. I bought a camera and it came just like new. Amazon tells you what condition the product is in. I have also bought an rc plane on amazon that said it was new and it was broken. (They said it was new but the tape on the box was already cut). I think it really depends on the seller. Hope this helps!
Euro Trucks roads are way more realistic. We rarely have the right lane as an exit lane. Usually there is a deceleration strip. In ETS 2 there are deceleration and acceleration strips at some exits.
Love your vids jeff thank you very much I'm a over the road truck driver I bought my first truck 2 years ago I started on hard trucks then went to 18 wheels of steel and still continue to play these sims now that flex bus Is launching in California hopefully there will be a dlc for it soon
I'll be going on a coach trip on wensday can't wait it's such a fun experience you go to the set place and then you get lunch at a typical British pub and then you go home and it's quite cheap it's a good day out
To answer your Amazon question, yes I have. Just bought a used desk this past weekend, arrived yesterday in perfect condition. Saved $58 by doing that and can’t see the difference between used and new.
