Helpful video. You generally provide detailed commentary during the entire process. I wish that commentary extended to using that "special tool" to remove and install the fuel pump ring.
Great job on the video. One handed car maintenance!!! I have the same scanner. Seems to do the job. I think I might take my car to a shop for this repair.
Great video thanks for posting this up!! I have the exact car you have down to the color, mine is a 02 though. Where did you buy the pump from, and how much did it cost you?? The Modena pump looks exactly the same, with 200.00 price difference! Damn! Thanks is advance!
hi friend thanks for the video! i would like it please if you can tell me the fuel pump code because mine is leaking and i can't find which to put because they don't write the code and brand. is it bosh?
do you know a video where the left pump is changed? it should be similar process only the fuel level display measure (dont know how its called in EN) is there. thanks!
You should be able to rent the tool to remove the pump from your local parts store. There should be a test port on each side on the fuel rail to check pressure with a Guage
to rest the battery open the hood and turn the rotory knob on the passenger side of the car and let it sit for a few minutes. If you have a 430 you need a plastic key made for the hole in the same position to rest the battery. once you turn the battery back on turn your ignition key to the on position for a few seconds but don't start the car. you will hear a few relays clicking and resting. If you like you can rest your throttle bodies at this time by pushing the accelerator pedal down to the floor five times in a row. once you have done this you can start the car.
