I have a 2002 360 Spider and when I open the top the cover stops in the upward position and will not go any further. Is it possible it is this same micro switch you are adjusting here or something else.

Also it could be the center hoop in the top that is binding. Your straps maybe worn and stretched out and not pulling back the center hoop. With the top closed position. Retract the top and at the same time push the center hoop back and see if that makes a difference.
@@ferrarifxs I have the same issue than him however the movement stop at the same position open and close. The strap cannot be the problem because the pump switch off (on both directions ) and on close the top drop near the close position, I just help him few grams and restart and close the to is final position? I have also the with diagram however I cannot witch can be the problem!
Nice tip. Curious what the voltage is on your battery or if your alternator is struggling. You shouldn't hear a difference when you are putting the top up or down but the sound of the engine changed when you were raising and lowering the top.
That pump draws alot of power. The service manual specifically tells you that any time you run the top the car should be running. The next time I have the scanner on it I'll have to check the voltage drop
Hey brother, thanks for the interesting video. The top on my 360 usually works just fine, but if I have the car out in the sun all day with the top down sometimes it will not have the power to go up. Any ideas?
Have you checked your fluid level? It's located behind the panel behind the passenger seat. Also I'll have to look there is a micro switch that may control that when it's in the tub. I'll see if I can somehow get you the info. Send your contact information to my email address Ferrarifxs@gmail.com
