For the track with a car this fast the paddles are the better option. You can keep both hands on the steering wheel, have better control and shift faster. As much as I prefer a manual on the road, my first lap on the ring was at the limit of my driving skills. An automatic transmission would have been less stressful.
Well got to hand it to Robert, thats some expensive machinery he's got and he's using it on the track. much as i'd love to own a car like that i'd be scared of someone bashing into it, much respect to you Mr Mitchell
Not only he has the courage to take a car of this price range to the track, but he is so committed to what he is doing that he went as far as actually correcting the car's alignment to unlock its true potential, while others keep them in there garbage wrapped in bubble wrap. I have nothing but respect for people like Robert, not because they can afford expensive things, but because of their devotion to what they do and what they like.

i used to daily a 4 figure hp supra and on the few occasions Robert uses the full throttle travel, the way this reels in the horizon is seriously impressive
Here's an idea for a video. Robert drives the Nordschleife in the T6, while Analise (is that the correct spelling? 😱) gives Misha a quarantine haircut. :D
Man that car is a rocket now after Robert got it set up. After watching all these videos you really need to have balls and faith i'd have a real tough time trusting these other drivers not to cut right in front of me on a turn, respect to you guys for doing it!
POV laps are the way. Love how you get a better experience of the compressions. Great lap too. Robert is a very very smooth driver. One of the best on the ring imo, The experience he has shows massively.
I drove a Pista on the track in Las Vegas. It was the only car where I felt a bit like the car was driving me. It was a monster. Such a sweet experience I will never forget! Thanks for the video!

the Pista MR needs to happen. @Manthey-Racing needs to develop its MR package across multiple manufacturers. it would be good for the industry. the nonsensical hypercar world needs a wakeup call to refocus on chassis development and real-world aero, not expensive hybrid tech. thanks for bringing this content!

Im not a ferrari guy, but they really are beautiful and look more timeless on the interior than other cars because there is less screen etc which will age. The only thing i dislike about the pista is the sound
Is there anyway you could go over in a video what maintenance is like for the Apex Taxi cars during a a regular season of passenger rides. How long do a set of tires last, shocks, brake pads , etc. It would be interesting to here what all is involved in up keep of the cars. Thanks for all the great videos. Stay Safe !
When I one day make it there and maybe can drive the track, I have to learn it all over. The corners probably won´t then go well by my right hand making me sip coffee..
I'm quite surprised how good the pista sounds. There's not really that big of a difference from the 458 in my opinion, at least from what I can hear inside the cabin.

Seems effortless to 200. I think I'd trade the 5-10% less straight line performance compared to a 720s for the 50% better sound (despite both being turbo).

just watching you drive the Pista, you do seem to enjoy it more and there is zero doubt that car is ballistic, it picks up speed at a stupid pace and if you aren't paying attention or being cocky it could get you into trouble fast because you're probably going at times much faster than you think. Also, I hear alot that the car sounds bad and that it doesn't sound like a Ferrari, it might not be the loudest car and admittedly it doesn't sound like a Speciale but when you are in the throttle it definitely still sounds like a Ferrari and does not sound bad. It also never ceases to amaze me that in every single video, idc if you are driving the Pista, 675LT, GT2RS there is always some boy racer who sees you behind him and for some reason thinks that his Cupra or BMW has been touched by the hand of god and transformed into a VLN car and is as fast as a track focused supercar, you see them failing to get over and pushing the car much much harder than is safe in most situations, attempting to race you. It's sad that those guys have to try and prove their penis is huge and they're real men and know how to drive. I'd love to see them just appreciate the car for what it is rather than act like a douche bag, everyone would have a much more enjoyable lap. It has to be stressful when that happens because now you aren't just focused on your lap, you have to focus on them and how they are now reacting to you and it just becomes unsafe, unnecessary and just kinda drains the fun out of it.
