A review of the Hotwheels F2004 in 1/18 Scale and a technical analysis and history review of the car itself.
Results Legend:
Races are total for BOTH cars combined.
Points were scored 10-8-6-5-4-3-2-1
WCC = World Constructors Championship
WDC = World Drivers Championship
WDC Results = Schumacher 1st, Barrichello 2nd
Qualifying and Race Deltas were averaged over the entire season on tracks that were the same length in dry conditions.

Hot Wheels really delivered a catastrophic quality. The Formula 1 cars in Schumacher's time were a disgrace!

Did you paint the winglet on the air intake red? Or was it already red in your model? I have this same model (Hot Wheels 1/18) and the tobacco decals set ready to apply, but there are a couple of parts that are painted white in my model, and need to be red. Not sure of how to deal with that... Any advice? Thanks a lot, great vids on all Ferrari models!

I used a non-acetone nail polish remover to remove the white. It didn't harm the red paint underneath. FYI, I did this on the F2003-GA. I did not apply the decals on the F2004.

@@SS454LS6 Thank you so much for your answer. I have done some conversions too, using non-acetone np remover, and it works great. What about the F2005? Did you do the conversion on that? Both the Hot Wheels F2004 and F2005 come with a white winglet on top of the engine cover, but it's red in the tobacco versions. I don't think it's painted red underneath, it's just white, so I guess I'll have to paint it red...

@@lluberest I didn't do the conversion on the F2005 either. On my conversions, the winglets on the engine cover were painted red
