yeah this is so much more enjoyable to take the entire day to work on something like this for a change.

Don't even waste your money on sio2 or ceramic products its all bs. If a wax and ceramic both require maintenence than the sio2 isn't anything special.

Part of that is putting too much wax on initially, it spreads a long way. Finding the right cutting plus buffing towel can take time. I am still a wax guy, I might even use a separate towel on the lower pasts of the car, Autoglym Red are good for wax removal.

nice i was trying to buy a swissvax product but the USA agent never responded to my calls or emails so i assumed they might be out of biz, the Zymol ItaL is neat because it was specifically created for the Ferrari F40 and the paint chemistry of this era and the results were amazing. I truly enjoyed this entire day doing it and cant wait to do this again on another special car of the past.

Les formules originales des cires de la famille Anwander (propriétaire des marques Swizol, Swissol et Swissvax) ne sont pas basées sur des enzymes et étaient considérées comme supérieures à celles basées sur des enzymes car elles avaient été développées pour l’usage privé de Hans Anwander grand-père et fondateur de la société. Ces formules étaient connues comme « Antikwachs », étaient destinées aux antiquités précieuses et aux laques de la famille Anwander et fabriquées à Zurich. Les cires Swissvax sont aujourd’hui des versions modifiées de ces formules (« Antikwachs »). Swissvax est de fait le créateur original des cires haut de gamme. Dans les années 70, un membre de la famille Anwander est parti aux USA pour vendre des formules de cires appartenant à la famille. Mais quand il a vu que le marché Américain n’était intéressé que par la production de masse (qui allait a l’encontre des traditions de la famille de produits faits à la main dans un environnement parfaitement contrôlé), il a été décidé qu’une formule modifiée serait vendue pour être produite au USA mais pas par la famille Anwander. Ces formules étaient basées sur des enzymes et ont été distribuées à l’origine par Turtle Wax avant que Zymöl (société et marque, le nom étant issu de « EnZyme Emolient ») ne soit fondée en 1980. La formule de Zymöl est dérivée de celle d’un fabriquant de chariot de Bischofsheim en Allemagne à la fin du XIXe siècle qui avait développé une cire à base de graisse animale pour protéger la peinture noire laquée des chariots. Les cires Zymöl sont des mixtures d’enzymes (propolis) jusqu'à ce qu’elles soient appliquées sur la voiture. L’air sert de catalyseur à l’accroche de la cire. Anwander & Co. AG fut un distributeur des produits Zymöl en Europe entre 1992 et 1999. Zymöl a affirmé que Anwander a enregistré la marque Zymöl et le design de ses pots en Suisse alors qu’il travaillait comme distributeur. Plus tard, Anwander & Co. AG a enregistré la marque Swizöl en Suisse, qui selon Zymöl a été choisi pour tromper le public. Vers 2001, Zymöl a découvert que Anwander & Co. AG avait créé de nombreux nouveaux produits de soins automobile étiquettés Zymöl sans l'autorisation de Zymöl. En 2002, Anwander & Co. AG a accepté d’abandonner l’enregistrement et l'utilisation du nom Zymöl et du design du pot en Suisse. Par la suite, Anwander & Co. AG a adopté le nom Swissol pour ses produits de soins automobile, toujours pour prêter a confusion selon Zymöl. Le 30 août 2004, Zymöl a poursuivi Anwander & Co. AG et son distributeur aux Etats Unis John « Jack » Camarda pour violation de marque, de copyright et de concurrence déloyale en faisant de la publicité, important et vendant des produits de soins automobile identifiées sous les noms « Swissol » et « Concorso », portant à confusion avec les noms « Zymöl » et « Concours » utilisés par Zymöl depuis 20 ans. Le procès a montré que Anwander & Co. AG a copié intentionnellement l'habillage commercial de Zymöl : la Concorso ayant la même couleur, le même parfum et le même packaging que la Concours (sac avec un cordon, certificat d'authenticité, et même le texte du certificat). En 2005, Zymöl et Anwander & Co. AG ont arrêté les poursuites. Comme règlement, Anwander & Co. AG peut continuer à utiliser la marque Swizöl en Autriche, Allemagne, Lichtenstein et Suisse (leur territoire) et les produits avec la marque Swizöl peuvent être promus dans ces pays en français, allemand et italien. Le nom de la société Swizöl était utilisé depuis 1929 et a pu être conservé. En dehors de ces quatre pays précédents, Anwander & Co. AG utilisait le nom Swissol jusqu’au litige avec Zymöl résolut le 9 novembre 2005. Depuis la résolution du litige, en dehors de ces quatre pays, Anwander & Co. AG a cessé d’utiliser le nom Swizöl et a choisi le nom Swissvax. Anwander & Co. AG ne pouvait plus utiliser le nom Swissol mais avait 18 mois à partir de la date de l’accord pour l’abandonner. Anwander & Co. AG a du changer son packaging pour éviter de copier les pots Zymöl et a du changer certaines couleurs et parfums. Il n’y a pas eu d’indemnités de versées a Zymöl. Aucun changement n’a été demandé à la cire Concorso.

yeah this is not designed for long term since these cars are rarely driven and used in the elements but this process becomes a ritual of bonding with that special car and to be honest id even do this once a week and be happy doing it.

give is a try one day I think it will have a lasting impact on your appreciation for cars and detailing its truly special

yeah this came out incredible and the camera really shows off the Rosso Corsa paint

I would do a section at a time, do the finger swipe test when the wax is dry. Less is more , all great products.

Steve i did a wash specific video on the Ferrari 355 check my channel where I protected certain areas and did it with my F100 foamer and a garden hose. then i Gyeon prep the paint and use the Zymol prep then the Zymol Ital as this video shows. the car still looks amazing since this video was shot.

Most likely 2021 as we are working on expanding the product range and much more

Hi this type of wax is mainly for show not durability for outdoor protection but these cars are never driven in such conditions. Doing a process like this becomes a ritual to bond with that special car.

no clear coat because that was how cars were painted back then, the technology was not there yet same with Porsches and other manufactures. Single stage paints are still used in high end hot rods and custom show cars because the blacks and reds glow much better than the 2 stage pigments.

been few weeks and the Ferrari feels and looks amazing, yes it has not been exposed to rain etc but it was well worth the effort. I think I plan to try another grade of Zymol soon. The Atlantique what sort of cars do you use it on and any feedback on it?

@@autofanaticcars I used Atlantique on lexus rx solid black I was make test and compared Vintage , Destiny , Glasur , Ital and Creame on this car , I use Zymol since 2002 . I will tag you in Instagram to see Zymol glasur sheeting , aslo there is two old videos in my youtube channel .

still great but the car never sees rain or the elements. love the Ital I kinda want to apply it again after the Holidays for fun.

@@autofanaticcars if you bought it recently maybe already containes sio2 because they added sio2 to original formula to work well with new Zymol Graphene spray .

yeah Zymol also has conflicting info of saying to let it dry up to 3 hours but that makes no sense, I listen to the label on the jar during the video.

Try a finger swipe test, once dry should be fine. These are high quality so even in you leave it on longer, should not be a problem getting it off.

Why exactly?

i think a glove might be risky of attracting dirt or dust particles to the surface and micro scratch. the Zymol os 100% safe on your hands as it is all natural ingredients and no chemicals or solvents once you try this method you will love it.

I feel violated after watching this

To preserve paint you are right to not be buffing and polishing -drying and gentle polish is non/aggressive - if it doesn’t shine optimally it’s ok - you can wash / wax more often because you are being more gentle

Hi i think I can do the car at least 5 more times so thats not terrible and im sure with practice I can use less product, this was so much fun and you should try it one day to relax

It needs to be put on as thin as possible, two coats if you can give it sufficient time.

this was the first time i ever tried this and after a few panels i did start to use less, the key with most waxes are the removal towels. I only use the Griots white dual weave PFM wax towels and I never have removal issues this Zymol Ital was so easy to remove and the car still looks amazing.

thanks for watching, the cheaper waxes all have solvents and other crap that you really should not be submerging your hands in all day as it will be absorbed through your skin. the 4 stools are actually my Jack Point Jack Stands check out my channel for the video on those they stack up neat in the corner

@@autofanaticcars using your hands let’s you detect the slightest imperfections - but in LA there are many days hot enough to melt wax. I like a spray wax hybrid.
