Great choice for review. The Revoslots F40 is am awesome car. The inclusion of James from Cleave Tech was an extra treat. Really enjoying the continued growth of your channel! Keep up your great work !
Great review mate. 👏 I love the rear end view the best with the mesh and the rear lights. Thanks for having me on the channel and I look forward to what we have planned in the future 😉.
Bought the 44 car, yellow mirrors for home track, saw all the F40s in period at Le man's, these two catamaran/Igol cars were the red and green Brummel cars if the previous year. The Toyota GT one is the best Revo performer, but some clubs ban all GT 1 cars from racing, sometimes run my 333 pilot livery. The Revo 15s rear tyres make a big difference to lap times.
watching the F40 go around the track i'm surprised it does not handle better for the price. i suspect that you need to change the rear tires maybe. and it doesn't look like its very fast. so i bought one anyway! very good test put up here on you tube. done very well.
G'day mate and I appreciate you watching the review. With my reviews I test the car as sold to the consumer just so they know what to expect from the box... I agree with The upgrades mentioned and most of my reviews would benefit from the same upgrades. Really appreciate you watching, thanks legend
Great collaborative video you have got there Travis. I have a few of these and two of these are going to be scratch builds - one a sanguine red and the other lemon yellow. If you look at the detail on the fuel filler and the side windows then I am not yet sure how to go about reproducing this aspect of the paintwork? Another day. Anyhow, I have run a Taisan liveried red one a lot (I mean a lot) OOB and, as with yours, it started as a great feeling car albeit the rear oversteer or 'tailing' somewhat takes away from the experience. In my case I corrected this with a third party magnet (I am not sure I had a box supplied one?) taped under the rear axle and this in combination with a better pair of rears (I think I went for German Ortmanns) and that's the extent of it. I imagine you would be sub 9 secs with something like this :)
Hi Trav!! love that little car. I got mine ant it has never let me down. As James say they do need little things straight out of the bow to get them right but I did whach his set up video and could not agree more. the track always plays a part in it but I think the main thing for anyone who want to set there revo right need to again as James says aline the barring mounts. oh and if the car seems loud the motor may be to tight against the grear. I strongly suggest a good hard 50 laps to worm the car up this all helps. as far as the car itself Trav I could not agree with you more. it is such a beautiful car the attention to detail is amazing and yes they realy go hard. I loved this review and it's great to see James aswell. please keep up the great work you guys. well as always Take car Trav from your pal Helcat.
I'm with you on wheels and wheel detail. Another company has 308 coming out and it looks great, not as good as this but great. However, the wheels completely sucked.
Fly gt f40 with bolt in engine pod shits all over every other f40 on the market for handling and corner speed and straight line grunt. I have 2 of them, one runs a magnet the other doesn't both run extremely smoothly with both evo motors from fly and high end thirty thousand rpm king after market motors for bigger tracks joy to drive
Nothing honest about this review. From all Revoslot cars their F40 is the one that gets the most negative reviews (some handling issues apparently). It’s just another review in which the RU-vidr does NOT provide an honest review, does not talk about the issues of that car. And that simply because he wants to be on the good side of the distributor and the manufacturer Revoslot so he keeps getting freebies (free cars). Not the first review I’ve watch from this guy and the other reviews were the same : totally biased review in favour of the product he got for free. That’s the difference between a RU-vidr who actually pays for the products he’s reviewing and a RU-vidr who gets free products.
G'day mate I really appreciate your comment and if that's how you feel about my review well that's your right to have your opinion. But now that you are here this is your opportunity to highlight the issues of the car. From my video please point out the issue of the car as I still cannot fault it? You say the handling is poor but again it does well on my track? In regards to free items that isn't a secret, yes I receive items to review but if the manufacturer isn't happy with my review and is not willing to send again well that's just life! Inbetween the free items I'm still spend thousands to support this hobby which I'm incredibly happy to do. Mike I honestly appreciate the time you took to watch the video and comment, I might not be the channel for you but please support the channels that you do like and never stop racing Take care mate 🙂
