In November 2018, I was part of a crew tasked with relocating a King Air B100 from Afghanistan to New Hampshire via Greenland and the North Atlantic via the Blue Spruce Route, a distance of nearly 8,000 nautical miles. Here is what we saw.
Notes - Our autopilot's NAV mode was inop, so we had to use HDG mode the entire flight... hence the slight left/right fishtailing. And the battery on the GoPro was limited, so the middle of most legs had to be cut out.
Many thanks to the good folks at Aeroptic... you know who you are.
