Fertilizing: Results & Thoughts After Using New Fertilizer for 5 Months

Hi Amy🤗Just wow! That fertiliser certainly seems to be producing amazing results. I watched a Rick L video where he soaked his orchids in a deep tray for 30mins. Since then I too have been following his method, both in winter and summer, they love it and don’t dehydrate so fast. Got a long way to go yet before they get to be anything like yours😂 love 💕 and blessings to you all. 🌷🌷🌷

Mine are in spanish moss with a jobes plant stick picked in. I'm sure being on The Big Island makes them more forgiving! They are on my porch on bamboo trelisses. I'll try that fertilizer too👍💖🏝🌺

WOW! Your Phal's are gorgeous! I'm a little confused, I just watched your video you did in January - New Orchid Fertilizer. However, I also watched your video regarding a mixture you also used which contains the following: 10 drops Cal Mag; 1 teaspoon of Better Grow Orchid Plus; 30 drops of Seaweed Extract etc. in 1 Gal of water. I believe this was for your Holiday Cactus Fertilizer but I thought you stated it can be used for Orchids (I could be wrong). This is where I'm confused, can I use your new Orchid Fertilizer on my Orchids and my Holiday Cacti or can I use your Holiday Cactus Fertilizer on my holiday cacti only? I am a beginner when it comes to Orchids, I only have 3 however, I do have quite a bit of different holiday cacti and I've been using the above ingredients on them. Looking forward to your response. Hi Amy, my guess is that the plant hormones in the seaweed extract is causing the extra flower spikes. Those phals along the window look very beautiful. In regard to ppm, does your TDS meter provide an EC conversion factor?

When I soaked my phals and re-used the fertilizer mix, I spread scale amongst my plants that must have come in on one of my orchids. I am still fighting them. Any suggestions to fight the scale?

If you soak your plants for an hour how long does it take you to do all your plants because you have so many beautiful beautiful plants

Can you put into comments the process of how you increased your A &B and are you supplementing also with seaweed extract and cal mag still. I am flushing once a month with epsom salt for added magnesium. I have two Phal’s that are in spike one mini and one regular , the spikes are very slow growing. So I have increased the magnesium.

Amy, I just mixed the Jacks recipe. Got it to 192 ppm with everything in it. I watered my orchids. Can I use this formula with my CC and TC?
