Festival of Tabla 2019 - Pandit Anindo Chatterjee 

Pandit Anindoo Chatterjee is the best soloist I have ever heard. He has authentic knowledge of tabla and his modesty is amazing.

Whoever made this sarangi instrument , must be a lover or had his heart broken over something ,otherwise this instrument won't sound so pure and full of love..... Oh god just heaven ❤️

Pandit Anindo Chatterjee is a genuinely a very good human being which is reflected in the sweetness of his Tabla. He is a real maestro in the field of Tabla which is seen in his legendary composition and presentation of the bol.

I've never seen someone so great at what they do, and yet so humble and down to earth. It even shines through in his smile

I was not planning to listen to the whole piece but couldn't resist! Also my dad got hooked pretty easily 😂

When I first started learning tabla in 1977, I was lucky enough to first learn from Jnan Prakash Ghosh, Anindo's guru. He was so incredibly humble that I thought he was some sort of replacement teacher standing in for the main teacher for many months. He did indeed leave the position after about a year and Zakir Hussain starting teaching instead. Zakir was such a rock star personality, and so kind, but about the opposite of Jnan in personality as a real showman. After all of these years, the only table maestro who is about as humble as Jnan is Anindo. What a great artist and a great soul. Zakir will always stand out in my most memorable experiences in my studies, but Jnan will always hold a special place in my heart.

Bravo. Anindoo Chatterjee has vast knowledge of different gharanas and ustads, he is acknowledging them with modesty and playing. A great legend and a great human being. Simple man. No arrogance, no cheapness in attitude. No show off!

What a wonderful performance by Pandit Anindya Chatterjee. I have listened his many performances for last 40 years but cannot remember a similar one like this. Perhaps presence of another great Tabla player Ustad Tari Khan in the audience has brought out from Anindya Chatterjee all best compositions from his archive. "Dapat" he has displayed during the entire programme with immense knowledge on the subject and gifted hands on Table is unbelievable. Salute to the organizer for the arrangement of such a great programme from legend Tabla Players

The stage setting is enjoyable and beautiful with no corporate ads or logos, this maintains a very high aesthetic to compliment such marvellous music. Also give recognition for your excellent Audio Visual production, with excellent world class sound and vision and no distortion. Bravo, you have achieved something very rare. I have had the pleasure of enjoying Panditjis performance many times but there are very few recordings and presentations such as this. 🌏🙏🏾❤️

His is such a gem of a person. Very authentic and so incredibly masterful. The tabla has become like an extension of his body. Incredible. Can never get bored of listening to him play
