We are on holiday in London. Yesterday we were at Fortnum and Mason Afternoon High Tea. It was a horrible experience. The service was really bad. Spend your afternoon at better places.

Oh no, sorry to hear that! If you would like a different place for afternoon tea, I really would recommend the Ritz for a similar price. There are mixed reviews for Fortnum & Mason but personally, the Ritz never fails! ☺️ Also, while you’re in London, you can head to the Chelsea neighbourhood, the ‘Chelsea in bloom’ free flower festival is on right now, it’s beautiful! Hope you have an amazing rest of your time here & thank you for watching 🙏🏼☺️🙌🏼

Lovely video, thank you! I love your voice and accent by the way. Wife and I will go to F&M this October. Have you been to The Wolseley for afternoon tea? We were recommended to go there.

F&M is my favourite store in the world and for me the Best Afternoon Tea in London. The last time I was there in 2015 I don't think they had the "Make your own Tea" but I really like this idea, I definitely want to try that in the future but unfortunately since Brexit F&M have stopped sending to Iceland which is a pity.

Do you prefer the F&M or the Ritz? Visiting London at Christmas and not sure which one to book?

Hello ☺️ Hmm depends really, if you want a bit more smart casual & you’d like to do other things afterwards like purchase the tea/teaware, shop Christmas gifts, & even make your own tea - then F&M because you can easily spend many hours there. But if you’re looking for something more formal & special, then the Ritz (they have a stricter dress code) They both have lovely Christmas decor too, but I think the Ritz wins in that department as they have the beautiful hallway & huge Christmas tree for the perfect photo op ☺️ Hope that helps, let me know which one you book! I’m sure you’ll have a lovely time either way 🤍
