Adorable, reminds me of my mother's patchwork style styrofoam bauble ornaments. She pushed in squares of fabric into a sort of patchwork quilt pattern.

Your baubles are so pretty and remind me of a Christmas past. My mother and us girls made these maybe in the early 80's. My mom's pattern cut the oval shape across the middle. She alternated every other piece like patchwork. I got real froggy and cut random pieces about a half inch/1.25 cm. Then I stuck them in randomly. It looks like a puffy quilt ball. Tedious though. TFS
