Very nice video sir. My Feuerhand lantern was delivered today at 6am and it is a beauty. I got the unpainted model and I really like it. Later I may get a Moss Green or the Bronze. I tried a Dietz lantern before this one and I had to return it to Amazon. It was very disappointing and arrived in damaged condition. It is so sad to see the once great Dietz lanterns being made in China now. They are not good quality at all in my opinion. Many Chinese products seem to have very poor quality control in my opinion. Anyway, the German made lantern is like night and day compared to the junky Dietz. It's a shame Feuerhand only makes one model lantern now, the 276. I lit my lantern off tonight and hung it out on my front porch and watched it flicker by my living room window. Very soothing to watch it glowing at night ! thanks again for the very detailed video. NOTE: Be cautious when buying.! Cheap copies of these lanterns are being made in China. They are NOT made in W. Germany ! If the price is around $30 watch out, you are being deceived ! I think I have seen them mainly on Ebay.

The small handle you was talking about is not a handle. it to remove the globe. Only use the carrying handle for handing.
