I remember watching my brother play this for hours. He was killed in Afghanistan in 2010. If I close my eyes I can still see him playing Vice City as if it were yesterday... I'd give anything to go back.
All these years, I did NOT know the Pointer Sisters sang this... When I was a kid, I thought a MAN sang the lead vocals. It is AMAZing what true artists can do with their vocal ranges & abilities... WoW: "AU-TO-MA-TIC" was the JAM!!!
lol I remember when this came out back in 1984 and my mum kept playing this and I said is this a man? then my mum shows me the single and it is a woman
Vice City simply had one of the best compilations of '80s music that I've ever heard. Not just mainstream stuff either. Whoever was the musical director for that GTA truly captured the essence of the '80s genre. With the variety of different radio stations, there was a wide range of music to cover, which really takes a gift to represent when you're using more obscure musical treasures. The whole game was just full of cool details referencing that decade. I loved it!
they have good game and rage engine so they can make the game better and stop making bad updates for gta v because we need a real remake for a the game
The 80's were awesome 😎👍🏻💯 I was just a kid (born '81) so I did get to experience em and remember it just not lol your type of partying lol Sure miss the 80s & 90s hugely . . . I've been missing a lot since I turned 40 . . . Cherish everything and everyone like I'm really shocked I'm still here but I start freaking out scaring the shit out of myself about death . . . Lord 🙏🏻 I'm ready for rapture 😁
How the hell is this game nearly 20 years old?! Time flies! I remember always wreaking havoc in the Malibu club with the katana before I got snuffed by the bartender's boomstick. Lmao
My fav one! I remember when I listened this song for the first time playing vice city, this song always sounded at the Malibu Club, I was 9 years old when I used to play Vice City. I miss my childhood 😢😭😊
Was 8 years old when I use to play this game everyday after school and listening to this tune whilst slicing heads with a machete lmao miss these days why aren't games this good anymore?
to think I was 14 when this song actually came out back in 84 and then playing it on Gta VC at 32 this whole game takes me back to my childhood in the 1980s
Grand Theft Auto Vice City the best GTA for soundtrack, story (in my opinion) characters, location and just all around the BEST GTA game ever, I wish rockstar would make a remaster version for current gen!
I think gta 6 was going to be in vice city but they had a falling out with the guy who created the online for gta 5 and he was sort of the backbone of gta so I guess most likely no gta 6
Leslie benzies didn't only create the online gta 5, but actually helped the housers create all the games from gta 3 onwards. The housers fired him because he put his name before theirs in the credits in the online version of gta 5 which like you said, he created.
There is an idea circulating in Rockstar for a game including all three major settings (Liberty City, San Andreas and Vice City) incorporated into one game. Of course, that would be a MASSIVE project.
Rockstar have acknowledged the communities demand for another vice city, or map set in Miami. Whether they actually do set gta 6 in Miami won't be known at least until late 2016/early 2017
Look what you're doing to me. I'm utterly at your whim. All of my defenses down. Your camera looks through me. With its X-ray vision. And all systems run aground. All I can manage to push from my lips. Is a stream of absurdities. Every word I intended to speak. Wind up locked in the circuitry. Chorus: No way to control it. It's totally automatic. Whenever you're around. I'm walking blindfolded. Completely automatic. All of my systems are down. Down, down, down. Automatic (Automatic), Automatic (Automatic) What is this madness. That makes my motor run. And my legs too weak to stand. I go from sadness. To exhilaration. Like a robot at your command. My hands perspire and shake like a leaf. Up and down goes my temperature. I summon doctors to get some relief. But they tell me there is no cure. They tell me. Chorus: No way to control it. It's totally automatic. Whenever you're around. I'm walking blindfolded. Completely automatic. All of my systems are down. Down, down, down. Automatic, Automatic, Automatic, Automatic (Automatic) Look what you're doing to me. I'm utterly at your whim. All of my defenses down. Your camera looks through me. With its X-ray vision. And all systems run aground. All I can manage to push from my lips. Is a stream of absurdities. Supposedly the next GTA is going to be another GTA Vice City, so I really hope that it's still set in the 80s so we can continue listening to these smashing 80s hits!
Bish Please No because they are fucking Classics it wouldn’t be a GTA 5 if it wasn’t for Gta Vice City and Gta San Andreas and Gta 3 as well Gta 4 was pretty good but the early 2000’s gta’s were the best
Used to play this game when I was like 4-5 with my dad, never really knew how to play it, but I knew how to walk around and at least drive decent, this song had to be playing at least a few times while I was driving because this song just sounds familiar asf, but I love it and replaying this whole game much older, I really do have good vibes with this game and it will forever have a soft spot in my heart
Weird thinking now that i used to play this at like 8- 10year old and didnt realise how voilent it was haha, but it proves games like this dont provoke violence cause i turned out fine?
I was always waiting for this song to play on the radio before I started finishing missions, and every time I enter the Malibu club it would play this song. So many childhood memories. GTA Vice City was one of the best GTA games, in all ways. especially music. 80's are the best musical period ever!
I remember this one playing in the mission where Tommy and Lance are sent out in a speedboat to acquire a shipment of coke by Ricardo Diaz, and fend off rival thugs after acquiring the shipment with a Mini 14 (Known as the "Kruger" in the game)...
Oh Lordy, the memories!! I was at an old school house party, six months pregnant and dying to get up and dance. No one thought it was a good idea but I got up anyway and ended up dancing with my drunk tía (aunt). My baby is now 33 years old this song still rocks this old grandma! 😉
my favorite was gassing the club, everyone passing out and even the smoke dissipated there was still a couple ppl dancing like nothing was going on. best shit ever
I remember staying with my cousins in NJ after 9/11. I was working nights and my cousins would play GTA during the day. Could not get this song out my head. GTA soundtrack was everything.
Vice city is my personal favorite mainly because i was born in the 80s San Andreas is my 2nd favorite because I grew up in the 90s I Miss those times makes me wanna cry
