you don't understand how long it took me to find this remix after hearing it whilst at work. all i had to go on was the fact i recognised the singer from the knife. defo worth it, so good.
What a great remix, amazing energy, amazing vibes, dancing, lock the door, goosbumps running down my arms . this is 2010 - this is the future of music - thank god for Fever Ray - thank god for the knife- thank the cosmos for the universal beats of electronic music, bringing time, space, and all manner of peoples and times together - Unity
This is a seriously fucking amazing remix. I thought he couldn't better the hearbeats remix but he really has. The steel drum sound works so well over that 80s kick. I CANT wait to play this live
I love Fever Ray so much. Imagine my surprise and joy when they played this song on the in-store radio where I work (ASDA/Walmart!). None of my co-workers had any idea who or what it was, and none of them seemed to care. Infidel!
Haha what the hack, I noticed this in my mobile when I was drunk I think.. I can't remember it, but I was partying harddddd on this one, that's a fact!!!!!!
great :) spektre has a sick remix of this one too, if u like this listen to royskopp-beautiful day without you (rex the dog remix ) respect and greets m8s !
@uluvjohnny Oh you mean the Arpegiator? Where by you push down one key & the device does everything for you? Yeh, Very Imaginative! I just hope it won't sound this square in september when I see her Live in London!! Honestly, I'm not trying to be an ass hole or something. But compared to what was being done via Musique Concreté 50 years ago, this is an ansult! Digital simplifies tasks in making music sure, but it is also making for simple music all together. And it sounds very Flat. :(
@MikeValentine85 I'm NO Friend of those who think our Elders spend Pain Staking Hours Slicing up Tape, Experimenting & Learning to Perform REAL instruments just for some DJ to come along & let a computer do all the Work. I have the Right to my opinion. Wether you like it or not. You wana take a look back & learn something or 2 "Friend". You think I'm compaining? If I just said "this is Shit", THAT would have been complaining. But I've given Reason, Refference & verisimilitude.
The Word "REMIX" Nowadays could simply be a tacky word meaning "To Speed a Song up & Putting "The Dance Backbeat" up against it". If I've heard this boring & unimaginative Thump Thump Thump Backbeat once, I've heard it a Million Times. Someone Bring back Fat Boy Slim so we can have 'thought' put back into the Drum Sequencing process again. And to think that Tom Jenkinson spends Weeks on End Programing Drums sometimes for only 30 Seconds worth of Track! Such a Shame...
