Fez's most difficult puzzles, and the true ending of the game at last! Fez is an indie game by Polytron Corporation (Phil Fish and Renaud Bédard), released in 2012 and featured in Indie Game: the Movie! polytroncorporation.com/61-2
You missed the DEEPEST (I think) secret of FEZ. 1:Get all the heart pieces, and go to the "Temple of Love" behind the 64 cube door. 2:Open the menu, go to the artifacts page. 3:Look at the red "letters" artifact and enter LT RT RT LT RT LT LT LT. 4:Look at the green "numbers" artifact and enter RT RT RT LT RT RT LT LT.
@June Nix How?? Haha. Before I had the maps, I went in every single door. I could only solve after I had all the maps and had thought about how numbers are represented.
Yay! Heart cubes! Blinking -> Binary -> Hexadecimal -> ASCII -> Button Mashing! Metatron's Cube! THE THIRTEEN CIRCLES. CUBE. OCTAHEDRON. DODECAHEDRON. The monolith appears. I hold my opinion as the release date -> hypercube's shadow's rotation code theory. It makes the most sense by far in my opinion; the 4D symbol appears on the tome. The true end... ;_; YES IM STILL WATCHING.
I know this is an old vid so maybe the info is outdated, but with the red blinking "star" i just interpreted the left one as LT and the right as RT. Filmed it for like 20secs and wrote down the code. That worked on 2 playthroughs. No binary coding stuff at all
Was just about to say the same thing and low and behold it’s the latest comment. It’s a cool puzzle in theory, but it’s hilarious how the binary contains the sequence of LT and RT presses to solve it, changing it from a bit of a hard abstraction of a puzzle to one of the easiest.
there are 32 normal cubes. there are 33 anti cubes. the last is gotten from the achievement. and you shoulda broken the heart before completing the game
That first puzzle takes the absolute piss. Who the hell would figure all that out on their own? That's the sort of thing that should be an easter egg rather than an actual puzzle in the game itself.
I WAS SO CLOSE to the observatory one... daaaaamn.I noticed the right pattern of red dots but since the right one was slightly longer I immediately assumed it was morse code instead of binary... and it led me nowhere. I surrendered and had to look it up, damn.
Bruh moment All I had to do to figure it out was press "right trigger" when the dot flashed on the right and press "left trigger" when it flashed on the left in the order specified until it appeared. I didn't have to get off of the telescope. In fact, I got that heart piece before getting the last anti-cube in the observatory.
I took ECE 120 Intro to Computing at the University of Illinois Urbana Champaign. I know how to turn binary numbers into ASCII characters and write assembly programs. I just do not know where the game hints that the red dots are clues in binary and when the 64 bit cycle begins and repeats itself.
The multi-colored cube during loading screens is a 3D slice of a 4D hyper-cube, so yeah, fez takes place from the pov of a 2D being living in a 3D world inside of a 4D universe...
Here what I think about both of the endings Non-64 Cube ending At the last second when the world is collapsing the FEZ showed Gomez it's creator (the cube or whatever it is) and it showed Gomez the origin and knowledge of the world and for the drum part I guess it is Gomez thinking after all of that and decide to be happy... At the last second of the world (Yeah that's a bit dark) 64 Cube Ending Well... This ending is WAYYYY more confusing than the first so here's what I got The world is saved and the game shows us (Not Gomez just US sitting in front of the PC/TV/Whatever) the everything, All the places, All the Parallel universes, And all the dimensions And for the static part I got 2 theories 1) It shows us EVERYTHING there is and it shuts down which means it sometime the EVERYTHING eventually have to come to an end 2) It shows us that "The screen" is all the EVERYTHING in the FEZ universe it tells us that we control the fate of this realm and for the shutting part it means after all of "saving the EVERYTHING" It gave us a rest, a switch to someone else to take care of the FEZ's EVERYTHING Oh, and YAY for more minecraft! :D
Oh and, I just noticed that The RU-vid cuts my message. What I am saying is after all of saving the FEZ's Everything, It decided it is enough for us and pass to the others so it shut the thing down
@@half_pixel I've checked multiple times and the small island room with the tree and 64 cube door is the only room I don't have cleared, I've looked on RU-vid multiple timed and found nothing
