For the first time, I understand the benefits of MIL vs MOA

I really appreciate the evidence based and explained topics in Form Fridays. If someone cant tell you the why they are just repeating what they have been told. It doesn't make it wrong but it also doesn't make it right. I would love to hear Form's thoughts on recoil management and mitigating muzzle jump even with suppressor and smaller caliblers. It seems like its a hot topic on many podcasts etc right now but I have yet to hear something which really feels like it explains or diagnoses why what happens when and what each shooter can do about it. Moa's what i know so I'm sticking with it but I respect mils

Mils are so much easier but I can't make myself swap MOA 4Life n I don't know why

i would disagree with being able to see being able to see 0.1 MIL on at 1 MIL scale. the maximum resolution you can get without additional marks is a half the scale, so 0.5 MIL on a 1 mil or 0.25 MIL on a 0.5 MIL scale, ect. can you effectively find 0.1 MIL of a 1 MIL scale? probably, but not repeatably. the size of the target you're shotting may make it a moot point but there it is. also after watching a lot of videos on MOA vs MIL this is the only one ive seen that speaks to it in an intelligent way, most of the videos out there are like, MIL is better because the hold over numbers are smaller than MOA and that makes MIL better

Mils are the way

I call BS, this is opinionated. Form is describing old technology way of thinking. Every body uses a smart range finder for the fastest ballistic solution and then dials for elevation and wind. It does not matter which one you use as long ad you feed it the correct info.
