Shoot2Hunt is a podcast with Unknown Munitions' Jake Mushaney and Rokslide's Ryan Avery. Here they discuss the reality of shooting and hunting, no sugar coated bullshit.
I know Form recommends using a FFP scope for hunting, but I had an eye injury that makes it a no go - can't see reticle a low power. Can you ask him to recommend a SFP scope 3-10/12/15 range?
I have one of the little rechargeable flextail pumps for my air pad and use that with a piece of tubing for a barrel cooler. They're cheap, rechargeable, and can use them for several things
My first opportunity to this podcast site, listened to a few now. Finally a no BS, no hidden agenda etc site….presenters offer the Gods honest truth from my perspective….at my age of 79 I’ve been at this for a while, love when I get to learn from folks that know WTF…..very informative, educational, practical, I could ramble on but I’m pleased to be here.
Not sure what Luke is doing back in the editing room with his sign on but can he start adding pics into the video when you guys are talking about shit. There's always products or something that pops up, you both look at the TV on the wall an go, 'oh ya that's it' haha just add the same pic into the video when watching on RU-vid. Either way good job guys, seem like a solid bunch hoping to come down an checkout unknown mention, bout 2hrs from ya north of the boarder, been to couerdalene alot never knew you guys where that close. Anyways Keep kickin ass
Enjoyed this one! Is it weird that I actually kind of like that Bear Camp gun? Why not have fun with stuff... doesn't always have to be so serious! keep up the fun and entertainment guys!
The original idea of the shoot clean shoot clean ideology was to improve cleaning not accuracy. The accuracy misconception happened about 15-20 years ago. Top gunsmiths only have a process because everyone asks for it, otherwise they just say shoot it like you stole it…
As a rokslider of a few years, none of this is news. I think the team is going to reach more people via RU-vid. It does make shooting a bit boring and predicable 😂
The only issue I’ve had with Remington 700 triggers is the bolt release tab bending by running the bolt hard. The Winchester, Mauser, Ruger action seems to be more rugged in that regard
For the love of God, please please please please release to us the 6.8 Western sooner than later 🤣😂🤣😂 This is an amazing cartridge and we are in desperate need of quality brass. I love ADG brass, so this is a dream come true.
Great info. Been hunting for 40 years, and have used all kinds of bullets and always migrate back to medium expansion bullets for penetration and tissue damage.
Speaking of copper bullets not shooting, I would be interested to get your take on what Ron Spomer discussed about needing to clean your barrel if you switch between mono and "standard" bullets. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-xFCyFh3zwJI.html. Watch at the 5:25 mark.
I have a 270 wsm I've never cleaned before n swap from 130gr copper impact to 150gr Bst and have had no problems with accuracy yet but have only had it 3 years n have probably only put 120rds through it
I haven't cleaned a rifle barrel in 5 years unless it had debris or moisture in it. Only exception is new barrels I run a few patches through. Don't miss cleaning barrels that's for sure.
