I attempt that while without quick save, but later figured out its absolutelu too tedious, its might take days or weeks to completed without savestating before Rat room. Even with quick save this take me around 200 reset and take me some 60-90 minutes attempts to pass rats.
All about Rat skip its FULL RNG and nothing more. This hitbox is absolutelu weird too. Not sure is there working RNG method with this.
3 first rat have to be correct places its all you will need. Last two is not that bad.
Another quick saved used before Ultros. How ever not was need it. Ultros was pretty cakewalk, but unlucky acid rain if this happen might whipe out your entire team away and im not really want make that Rat skip again.
Another real insane RNG might be minecart session, migth be impossible aim minimal levels with my pirate cart (this is not emulator and there is not real savestate tool). Quick save thing not work place like this, its only work dungeons with similar way as normal MAP save. So i cannot manipulate correct enemies with savestating in minecarts. I´ll probably gain here level or two. Let see it later.
