I'd hear this theme the first time I played it when I was 9 and deadass just sat there for 20 minutes and cried bc I thought it was the prettiest song id ever heard and then oop, duna's an alien so long story short I'm a monsterfucker now with very unclear feelings about girls
I would have to say that Duna was one of my favorite characters in Fossil Fighters. She was beautiful, she was tough, and when things got to a boil, she stood up for the right thing. If they ever do make another Fossil Fighters game, I would definitely love to see Duna in there.
It's very unlikely to me that there will ever be another sequel. But then again, I was very shocked when someone told me about the sequel Fossil Fighters Champions coming out. I thought he was lying until I saw the ad.
I loved Frontier, don't get me wrong, but yeah, the Fossil Fighters franchise was really let down by it. While Frontier contains some of my favourite characters, such as Leon and Kowloon, FF and FFC were wonderful - they had a quirky joy that Frontier couldn't hope to emulate in any way.
The main reason why I chose duna over Rosie in the last battle. Mainly cause she was pretty cute and also the theme was so good, and hell she can turn into a Dino that you can use in fights once you’re done with the main story. If only fossil fighters got more recognition. Imagine a remake. Hell imagine duna in smash ultimate but. Some dreams are meant to be dreams. But we can still cherish the moments that made it nostalgic
I think she made me realize I AM straight. I am a man now, and was in my early childhood when I played this game. Heck, this may have played a subconscious role in Reptil's creation.

I feel down. It’s the fact that they terminated the WiFi for Nintendo and now I can’t get the event to get Duna for fossil fighter champions I’m sad I miss my waifu sometimes
This gives me flashbacks and makes me sad at the decline of the franchise. The first game was great it had great story, music characters, everything. Duna really examplifies everything right with the game. The second was good but it relegated so many of he great characters (Like Duna) to mere cameos. The third was... Well... Different. It was decent in its own right but just didn't feel like it was the sequel to this one. I hope if they ever make another game that Duna, Dynal, Raptin, Hunter (The first games main character) and others all return. Until then I wait for my Waifus return.
Justin Speaks. The third was different, I don't like how they changed the vivosaurs designs. The battle system is great and music is fine. But FF and FFC tells a great story. I hope they bring the characters back from the first game, if they make another one.
Well they do bring a few characters back, but they are just cameos. You can battle Rupert, Todd, and Pauleen in a tournament battle! Don’t remember which one though...
I agree. I was upset about how they completely threw away the strategy system of the original game. The third fossil fighters game was the only game I didn't complete. It was just too different. I appreciated the new features in the 2nd game (such as miracle fossils) but was a little upset about how they changed the fighting position system.
YES that would be amazing. I swear how in the hell did they screw up the third Installation of the game? What were the producers smoking? DINOCAKES?!?!? IT would be great to see this series comeback. It would be amazing if it got some more recognition.
@@yuyaricachimuel555 I wish that they might have instead expanded on the origins of Gunash, how the Dinaurians are settling in on Earth etc. Or they could have expanded on the Rouge vivosaurs thing.
ryan thomas yes I would’ve LOVED to see a whole story on the Dinaurians and their planet before it was destroyed... that was a major reason why I decided to work on my own prehistoric epic fantasy project I’m still trying to do xD

I shouldn't like that right? It's not normal right? Good thing I can assure my old self, character matters more.

She looked like one, but isn’t like one. She was mysterious, honorable, brave, loving, and is in my humble opinion the best character in the entire franchise.
@@echospace7347 I might be biased due to nostalgia, but I've replayed them many times over the years and think Fossil Fighters 1 and 2 are both great games. First is amazing and second is even better.
@@echospace7347 I’ve played fossil fighters a lot, and it’s genuinely a great game. Not without a few faults, but the story is really charming and fun and the combat is good
I won the first time I battled Duna. I only won because I accumulated a lot of “gamer wisdom” because I didn’t beat the game until years after I got it. When I played it earlier I got stuck on that Digadigamid puzzle and never beat it until my next attempt years later when I looked up a walkthrough. I trained my team before I did any significant part of the story.
I heard it was bought by another studio, so I'm sure they had no clue about the previous storylines. But sad to see duna reduced to an event in champions.
I can only imagine the cringe worthy comments I made here in the past. But yeah, shallow character, mediocre song, amazing impact. I come back to this vid now and here to find the legendary "I WILL FORNICATE WITH THE DINOSAUR" comment. That one cringe line has made my childhood. He speaks for like a good 60% of FF fans or something.

RU-vid won't stop recommending me this theme, I don't like Duna's theme song. They won't spare my soul. I like the leitmotif, but not the song itself. RU-vid please don't remind me that I find her theme mediocre. This complaining isn't at you OP. It's at Yt. Once again the out of touch metadata sold targeters have taken everything from us.
@@dinathefossilfighter I'm glad you responded positively =D, usually when I make these kinds of comments people yell at me, I like this change of pace (= And if I have this opportunity to talk, during my replay of the first game, I've realized that I don't really care for the original Duna other than as "I liked her when I was 7, neat". I often express how much I enjoy her, but that's just cause of how I've reimagined her. I only realized the other day that Duna in that game is like most of the rest of the cast, I don't care about them. In fact I think I like Raptin more! People hate him, but he has so much personality! He's such a delusional wimp and soys himself, while Duna is just melodramatic and based. I have some feelings for other characters, I think Dynal is my favorite so far and Rosie, well I hate her. It's mostly just as a joke, but seeing her legit makes me cringe.
