[FF7 Ever Crisis] Black Waltz - Ruin EX 2 (PWR 168769) 

Before the Steam version released, I mainly played on iPad. This was the only video I had recorded from back then. This was a pretty fun encounter while trying to minimize my power level by using only free sub weapons.
The hardest part was just surviving the beginning of the fight. My Cloud had only base MDEF as well as the lowest HP of the party, so he needed a Manaward to get through the back-to-back Triple Waltz attacks. It was also imperative to remove the enemy's MATK buff, or else I wouldn't be able to heal up enough for the second Triple Waltz.
It seems a bit counter-intuitive to me, but Limit Breaks still do respectable damage even while the boss has its physical resistance up; I suppose the magic vulnerability balances it out. It does make it easier to do enough damage this way, as it gives you more time to build up your next Limit Break. I tried to spend a little extra time in the Flying phase just to replenish Limit Breaks as well.
