NGL this event is pretty stringent on DPS requirements, and I am currently doing my best on a Stage Level 200 Guide, but it's looking REALLY tough!! Amazing video, wish I can say the same thing about this ranking event. This ranking event is extremely lazy work from apilbot. When did making a enemy a sponge = fun? These option 5500% hp, 350% defense, 320% lag make no sense. After the first attempt i was over it which sucks because I need 16m points to get all rewards. This content reminds me of kingdom heart 3 dlc, making something harder for urself so they don't have to put actual thoughts into making descent content. I want more fight like the new MH ex3 fights. Bring back dungeon ranking atleast that require somewhat strategy. BTW next collab is going to be Kingdom hearts calling it.

I have come close to beating the Airbuster at stage 200 but the lag was ruining my LB timings to stall his attacks. I've done up to stage 160, might try to push that 180 but honestly If I can't get the stage 200 beat I'm not going to stress about it. 100 crystals for getting to stage 200 is stupid, not worth it. They should have made 500 crystals at the very least.
I spent about 3 hours today trying out the Airbuster since I pulled super hard on the Tifa banner. I am currently rank 37 with a score of I think about 774k, somewhere around there. At first I ran a team of Tifa, Matt, and Seph. But decided to try a team with Tifa, Cloud, and Yuffie. Second team did much better with hyper offense Lighting, no heals at all. For the Battle Effects, I didn't do any debuffs to Patk and maxed out the rest. But I only put 100% boost to enemy P/Mdef. Thinking back to one of your last videos where someone commented about Aeriths new weapon making Arctic Star obsolete. No way would I have been able to get my current rank without my AS and Yuffie's lighting breach weapon. If I had her breach weapon at OB6 to get High in 1 cast I bet I could get closer to 800k total points. I only need 2 more copies of it!
It seems random to me, as it has now hit all of my characters with the same team. Though, it might be based on current high HP because it always hits Zack first for me at the beginning of the fight and I believe he is my highest HP char. But like if Zack fell below Cloud’s level and Cloud then had highest Hp because of Zack’s damage it might switch over. I’m guessing something like this, but because it is current HP and not total I am guessing, it is super hard to work around it.
Damn, I thought I had a pretty good Lightning team, but I just can't go super high level on Air Buster. If I try to go weak Buster but high Def then I just sit there chipping away and can never do real damage. On the other end, I'm getting wiped by the higher attack / the timing for Red's LB to remove his attack buffs is hit or miss to if it will be on time. Guess I'm going for Reno.
Oh shit!! You’re right!!! I did have one! Unfortunately I still couldn’t have used it because that weapon is the foundation of cloud’s sub weapon DPS. Good call on that tho I literally totally blanked on BE just because I always sub it these days haha
The lag gets really stupid when they add attack sigil slow/drain effects... I mean god dam guys, I shouldn't be losing half my gauge because your shit isn't responding.
Exactly. The game should be challenging, but not because their servers are so overlagged that the game itself becomes the challenge. Really took all the fun out of it for me, tho i was still able to manage a stage level 184 run, so will do a guide for that. The 200 is impossible with this guide since its so on the wire
To be honest, I didn't even try hard to beat the lvl 200, it's just dumb at this point. There's less lag now but the fight is still dumb. So I'm stuck at lvl 150 for now :')
@@BodhiJMSRyder actually I was inspired by your video to try a bit harder and I'm really close to beat lvl 200 against Reno (the Airburster fight seems to be easier if you have OB6+ Tifa's MH weapon).

yeah the lag is just horrible, specially for me because I'm playing from SEA, this is even worse than the time us SEA peeps still needed a VPN to access the game 🤣
It was better here, but when I was fighting the stage level 200 it would freeze while I was in blue stance and the entire bar would run out then it would unfreeze and half my team was dead lolol
