FF7 On This Day 5 Years Ago [FF6 style, 30 minutes]

Over the last couple years I've done a bunch of FF music arrangements in FF6 style. I was also contributing FF6 arrangements for a fan game called Final Fantasy Dissidia Sedecim which was basically the game-version of what these tracks are...Other FF characters battling FF bosses in an FF6 style.
All music in these lines of videos were composed by Nobuo Uematsu, unless otherwise stated in the video. :)

Exactly what i did with "challenge" in FFX and "radiation" from Metroid Prime upon watching a Let's Play of both of those simultaneously lol

I absolutely love that type of exercise ! Interestingly enough, it doesn't sound all that different from the original FF7 PSX version either (I haven't compared them back-to-back, but this is how I remember the original sounding anyway), which is a testament to the care you put into having it sound believable. Excellent job sir !

Hey - is there anywhere I can get this complete FF6 soundbank from? Dying to try some FF9/10 through it ;)

Heya! You may be able to google search an FF6 soundfont from somewhere. I'm doing it all by hand by ripping and utilizing samples I already put together myself. Chances are you'd need to recompose some of the music together to get it to 'feel' like ff6 though
