So mysterious, yet also a bit creepy...as if you are entering a place of mystery, wonder, intrigue, perhaps even beauty...yet also danger. Great remake of this theme, really captures the feeling of the original and amplifies it significantly. Man, I want a remake of FFVIII... The first RPG I ever played, and one of my favorite Final Fantasy titles. After VIIR, I really hope they'll remake this game.

Sorry for super late reply! Saw this before but forgot to reply >.< I did hear some rumors about this a while back, I don't think anything is confirmed though. But, if VIIR does well (it no doubt will be incredibly successful), then we might just get our remake of VIII! :D

@@dinham16 VIII remastered is already a thing. But it's just a remaster; a spit and polish to make it work on modern systems. It's still same old VIII in essence. As far as Remake goes, it's much harder to do, both from gameplay perspective (as the RPG systems are much more designed for pseudo-turn based combat) while story works heavily on character development rather then epic saga of VII.

I don't know how you do it, but imo your remakes sound like Uematsu made them himself. I've listened to so many remixes, but yours are by far the best if you ask me. Loving your work, keep it up!

Every time I see you post FF8 remakes, I get hyped AF! I'd argue that FF8 has the best "overall" soundtrack of any FF game. Keep up the great work! :)

While I disagree on one point (Personally, I think FFIX had the best), FFVIII's soundtrack was so underrated, and it's nice to hear it re-imagined by someone of talent.

This game reminds me too much of a near death experience (basically a death experience straight up) because I had never made it far into this game, but I saw things in a real version of how this game ends... it's so crazy how much this game ended up meaning to me. One of my absolute favorite Final Fantasy pieces of all time, beautifully redone. This is by far the best mix of this song I've heard, and I've found quite a few over the years. As soon as that first downward crescendo hit, arm hairs went up~

Seriously -- Square Enix needs to hire you for your remake of some of the most iconic music Nobuo Uematsu himself has ever created! They need you for the Remaster Version of FF8 that's being planned right now! XD
