Brings back the old days when I was 11 and playing FF8 during weekend. The smell of mom's cooking rises when I close my eyes listening to this song. Such a peaceful song.

Oh man this is bringing back the memories. FF8 was the first one I ever experienced, playing/watching it with my dad as a little kid, maybe 5 or 6. This song among so many others brings alot of those times rushing back.

Final Fantasy 8 remains my favorite in the franchise. I actually got my start with it through the very first NES game...I lucked in on a cheap, good-condition cart when I was a kid...But I didn't really get into the franchise until I got a PS1 and picked up 8 *instead of 7 because I was sick of hearing about it by then*, and instantly fell in love with it. Squall, Rinoa, Quistis, and Zell were all so...Relatable to me. I had friends like each of them. Hell, I've been like each of them at different parts of my life. This song and Breezy (Balamb's theme? Think it's called Breezy) immediately hit me with the nostalgia from that game. Kind of miss when I would just play it for hours.

For me, FF8 was Squaresoft's greatest JRPG in terms of visuals and music. Square's always been great with creating nostalgic atmosphere but FF8 was just different

This is my absolute favourite in the series yet I'm saying the one that NEEDS a remake is VI. I love the 16bit style but that way so many more people could enjoy the story.

But admittedly, I would love to see the guys and gals in full HD, explore more of their world and maybe get a bit more background story or character exploration and stuff like that. Sadly, I think they'd wreck all the minor NPC interactions that were this game's strength, based on how bland FF7Remake's NPCs were (which was one of the game's weak points for me)

Not only is the song relaxing, but the timing of it couldn't be better. This music was played during a much-needed breather following a particularly hectic portion of the game. You can feel yourself unwind while listening to this.

I loved this song as a 10 year old in the late 90s, but it's sad to hear now. I grew up and it all feels melancholic. My youth now stays at fisherman's horizon. One day I'll return.

despite all criticism about the inconsistencies in the writing of the game plot as a whole this was my first ff game, i love this game so much in special for the amazing soundtrack that this game have
