Funny how we get reduced rewards for more effort.. 2k lapis end prize instead of 3k, 1 NV guaranteed 10+1 instead of 2, and the exchange shop literally isn't there for me. Dunno what the heck is going on. I left a group on FB because they told me to stop with my negative tendencies, but this game honestly deserves it. Not to mention theres no EP bonus for the freaking units.......
The end does really seem nigh, but it feels like we're being cheated given how Jp is still going strong. I always thought that the game would die once we see FFBE Jp wrapping up, and then we'd follow a few months later.
They messed up the powercreep starting with Esther and then decided to stick to the path instead of correcting it and then follow the one that jp paved.
@@NeoLotexThe primary issue is that they wanted to sell new units because of they followed the same schedule as Japan, people can essentially optimize their pulls a skip all low value units, therefore decreasing their revenue generation. Obviously that still happens somewhat, but their global content was to add extra spending incentive. Of course they had to pump each of them up to encourage people to spend on these unfamiliar units with no nostalgia The problem is that they poorly balanced other content and units to map within this structure to where it was generally only worth it to buy global units. CoW released and it just further cemented the issue. I doubt they were completely oblivious of the possible issues but just decided to kick the can down the road. Then once they got to a certain point they had no man power to rebalance non-global content significantly as it would require a lot tweaking. The nail in the coffin that really shot us was the Facebook compensation goof up otherwise I think the game would have still had consistent content for a while. Even though it's doubtful the loss was extremely significant (many of the people who got compensation were not players who spent anything anyways), however it's indisputable that there was some non-recoverable loss. Regardless higher ups likely decided to pull off people or fire them after the screw up and that got us to the point where it's obvious only a couple people are maintaining the project otherwise we would have gotten more content.
I pulled quite hard on Eithne and FF, got both of them to +3, got Wilhelm to +2 and +3 when his shards come to the shop and today got Rain to basically +2.5 and Taivas to somewhat +1 too, so overall I'm pretty happy, but I also used up pretty much all the lapis I had saved up by ot pulling for anything since the start of the year.
I went through enough step up to get the pity pull and got nothing but off banner garbage. Just learning aboht the game ending. I was there on day 1 and just came back recently.
Did GL get rid of Rain's omnicover? It just doesn't have permanent uptime in JP. Also, one thing I liked about him in JP was that he has S4 leader skill for Garuda tower.
Hi, old forum-mate. Congrats on your pulls, man. Weird that they are not selling Cloud at all, given that he is $$$. Thought they would just put him up, then EoS. 😅 Weird that JP is going so strong, and GL just has to copy 1-for-1 instead of EoS but instead, I would harp on this again and again - the games' management made mistakes upon mistakes, and we the players are the one paying the prize. Anyway, cleared some space on my lappy this week, redownloaded Starcraft2. I might, or might not, miss Exvius. Unlike Wilhelm, I felt nothing for EoS Rain and Taivas. Finally got Benardick(ta) right before maintenance yesterday (a 3k lapis pull on the step after my usual rituals. 5-60 tickets yielded nothing ... or rather Cids. Cid at EX2 now), so I do have a Wind team too now. Now, need to motivate myself for some trials, or any trials. That's the main fight. 😅
yeah when i saw the 400K farming latter i straight up closed the game. been playing since year 2........ its been fun. im not gonna mindlessly farm 400 runs for what? 5k lapis?
Not even that much, only 2500 lapis. 500 at 200k pts and 2000 at 400k pts. Doesn't feel worth it. The real prize is the ticket exchange shop which has a bunch of stuff in it, but it's clearly a "Going Out of Business Sale"
We can only hope that they'll finish translating the story by the end of the month (and I suspect they will), because once EoS is announced we shouldn't expect any more content to be released.
I dont understand why japan server is still going strong when only japanese play it not like global when there are players from several countries play it. So why? Does that mean that jp server has more revenue than global?
Asia has adopted the microtransaction mobile gaming with open arms. More whales and more dedicated players of mobile games, because it fits into their school and work culture more. No time for pc/console gaming. So yeah, it's just that players in japan dish out more cash.
Either one, really. Both are strong units. Clive is basically locked to Fire and Wind elements, tho, while Rain has a bit more flexibility in his elements. Clive has a better field tho (200% LB damage). Can't really go wrong with either one, imo.
