Excluding works from the art books, I think Mirei's card is hands down the best success. Composition, rendering, and it gives personality to a character that Gumi didn't necessarily flesh out with lore. Good stuff
Without seeing any further thoughts yet, the Moogle and Carbuncle art would truly top tier if it didn't look perpetually low resolution. The way whoever did the sketchy-ness on the art gave it such a blur that I just don't like looking at when it's bigger... Yo, D is a weird placement though. Especially with that Ang art in S. Maybe I'm just putting too many points in the actual art, but Ang, aside from looking to have some of his knee cut off, looks the least existent in the background of his art. Most of these artworks benefit from being at a angle, but Ang looks legitimately plopped in on a particularly fake background. Man, I'm so happy y'all had the same take I had for Lucius' art when I saw it years ago. K-pop idol succubus when I always saw him as super buff and threatening. Not even going to mention an impossible to unnotice error on his left arm looking so thin, especially compared to his right arm behind him. For his sister, I actually like the artwork she got in that same artbook, though she coulda had a more sensual expression for being a succubus. I also like that design WAY more than the Elegant Temptress design, but I do appreciate how fun her VC is. I must hard disagree on the love for Reberta's VC for retroactively making me dislike Reberta's original design more. I think it's a terrible armor design and I hated realizing it's actually similar to the original Reberta. The chest plate is worse than boob armor, all the pressure goes straight to her breasts and every plate is sticking to her by black latex(?) cloth(?)? Grossly large pauldrons that aren't even attached to anything? Such a hideously bulbous helmet. It's just all bad and terrible and I hate that it actually looks like the original sprite's armor somewhat and I just want her to get a design change. F-tier.
