This plays when up against Pauleen's Mask, brainwashed Todd, and Zongazonga (first fight). Basically, this is the theme for all mind-body control voodoo.
I remember being really shocked at the twist of Joe really being zongazonga and the barebones brigade actually being good. I remember feeling like the other kid characters were really my friends, sticking with me and Todd even after everyone turned on us. I remember after Todd was caught and brain washed, being devastated because I was having trouble beating the fight. Dude, this game was so good, and I think I would apprieciate it even more now that I’m older.
I seriously hate how underrated this game is. I love how they threw in plot twists, made things hard, and even made the music epic and the development of the characters is on point. This will by far be my favorite game, and not even Pokemon can compare to it (Prior to Gen 7)
Daegan Cole Yes. I feel like the only reason why I like Pokemon more is that there are so many more games. But if we are talking individually, I like the 2 good Fossil Fighters games more than any Pokémon game
Coming from someone who's played tons of pokemon, FFC is honestly better than anything at least from their main series (Ranger and Mystery Dungeon games were pretty good but they weren't main series games). FFC just had better plot progression and character development compared to anything in pokemon.
You mean prior to Gen 5 and during Gen 6, right? But yeah, FFC was my favorite Fossil Fighters game to...and then I lost it. My Nycto Ace and Hercules...gone! GONE!
king ko Frontier only killed the series cause everyone looked at it through tunnel vision. The core gameplay was the same, but a slightly dumbed down battle style and a new way to move around is just too much for some people i guess. I will agree with the ammount of vivosaurs. that is bullshit. I do like some of the redesigns though, the only one i have a real problem with is Charchar. . . *shudders* Other than that, they made most if the vivosaurs look sleeker and cooler. The only vivosaurs that got fucked over in the re-design was the large theropods.
I remember when I first played this, this song was always one of my favorites... gave me the chills, especially when fighting against Todd. To think how that innocent little kiddo ends up with such dark music. ‘^^
I agree with this being second best, but for first it’s a tie between Tragic serenade or ZongaZongas temple thing or pyramid in Jungle Labyrinth or A Night at the Circus AKA hot spring heights theme
Hey Dina, I assume you’ll read this comment but I just wanted to say thank you for posting all of the music from Champions as it’s one of my favorite DS games and I love the soundtrack so much and I genuinely listen to it regularly. So I just thought I’d send a personal thank you in the comment section of my personal favorite track in the game Also, I hope you have a good day
In the Cinematic not long before this, Todd has a regular Stego, but in this fight he has a Barbaros, the super evolution of Stego. But when between the time he was captured or got away, when did he get and integrate the super fossil? Or did ZongaZonga give it to him? Or did he already have Barbados??? How many Stegos does this kid have?!?
I noticed that too. I like to think Zonga x 2 gave him a miraculous fossil rock to increase the power of his Stego. It’s also funny to imagine him as a huge Stego fan. He and Dr. Diggins have that in common (okay at least before Diggins got attacked by one)
Zongazonga likely gave him the miraculous fossil to clean after brainwashing him to a) power up his brainwashed assistant and b) symbolically show Todd's growth/rage (more power = more anger, more corruption). Also, Stego is defensive, while Barbados less so, which could show a transition form cowardice to strength.
Here’s how I think it went down *ahem* Stella:here you go Joe, here’s Todd Zongazonga:excellent, now leave, I shall deal with him myself (Stella, Terry, and Kent leave) Todd:you can’t do anything to me Zongazonga Zongazonga:oh can’t I now? (Zongazonga does whatever he did to Todd) Zongazonga:now let’s see your vivosaurs...EW, a stego??? Sheesh, here take this, at least have something other than stupid stego Todd:( ;( I like stego) Yes all mighty one (Todd:wait what am I doing, nooo stoooop) (Todd fights the hero and you know the rest)
@@DorianBrightMusic you know, I can totally get behind this symbolic aspect of it. Whether it was intentional or not idk, but its still cool to look at it like that
I'm working on a few projects regarding fossil fighters champions music, and after this I'm planning on taking a look at the idea to make a pokemon showdown like website for fossil fighters
@@melofelo4484 I actually found a team that was making exactlg that. We are currently working on it. The battle engine is done, only the vivos and a graphical upgrade is left to do
@@joshuamendoza7596 Still in developement. They're making it a program instead of a website. The plan is to have it have online functionability though.
Sure Frigi was terrifying when it was at max power, but when you got access to Igno, they cancel each others powers and you can curb stomp Frigi, due to it being a long range vivosaur in the AZ. Zongazongas first battle however? That battle is a NIGHTMARE if you are under leveled or have a weak team composition. Not only does he have Alberto, a very strong close range vivosaur in its own right, he has two of the best long range vivosaurs in the game, Poseidon and Argento. This battle can go so wrong so quickly if you aren’t prepared.
