Very cool man. I have been looking at the firefly models. An was thinking of doing about the same wire wise. But was thinking of get one of the 6 way toggle switches. Kind of like jimmy page’s custom. I know he had a push pull I think for out of phase. But I have a Gibson standard. And did the 21 tone 4 push pull knobs. And find that I really only ever use the parallel knob. Been thinking of switching it to do it with each pickup. To give it more a p-90 sound over a single coil. Your guitar sounds great. And really helped me decide/lean more to the firefly brand. Was looking also at the epiphone 3 pick up SG in black. As like you made me think of Mary Ford. Or Joe Bon has a 3 pickup custom epip makes that nails a lot of the 50’s specs I like. Fat neck, grovers, cts pots, orange drop cap, and low thin fret wire. Like the old fretless wonders Les liked. Thought a firefly might me better at the price. Since it was also going to be my learning wiring and down the road fret work, an maybe a repaint like a pelham fade almost green job. Not relic just like it had sat in a store window to long and fade out some. Thanks again for the video. Have a good one and merry Christmas.
Kind of sorry I didn't get one when I had the chance, I'm not into gold hardware, or the way it was wired, but this guitar along with the mods you did, really looks awesome Tyler, I should have snagged one and change out the hardware, they did a heck of nice job on the binding, enjoy.
