This requires a complex filter, in particular we need the _select_ complex filter. A video of mine telling more information on how to use the filter is available here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Yc16I6i9xDU.html

Hi, I am using ffmpeg for screen recording, i used .WebM video extensions but some last part of recording automatically cuts off. For eg. Actual time 20 sec -> recording will be only 15 sec Its only happens with WebM. Any suggestions on this???
I don't have any clue how this thing can happen. Maybe incompatibility between audio and video codec? I see other people have problems with .WEBM files and their content, but I don't see any converging cause. I will investigate more. Thanks for reporting!
Are you using a compiled version of your own or a precompiled? Maybe the 'x11grab' is not enabled. More information can be found here: stackoverflow.com/questions/44919738/unknown-input-format-x11grab
I've been looking for a long time how to do this and I haven't found it! congratulations for the channel and for the great videos. I would like to know if it is possible to capture with ffmpeg and already transmit in hls at the same time. thanks
Thanks for watching! Yes you can, more on it on my HLS video in particular ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-zOPu26W48AA.html I suggest to take a look at the other streaming videos as well, where the screen sharing is also mentioned. By the way--you should be able to switch between wayland and the x11 display servers. You might need to install x11, but check on the login screen down in the lower right corner. There is a little icon there that you should be able to specify x11 instead of wayland. Then this method should work.
