Rulers of the Outer Worlds is the more difficult than all the other Brutal Challenges as well as the Legendary Bouts. I was able to get to Gilgamesh every time, however, he wiped the floor with me. I ended up having to use a guide from Optinoob with some minor tweaks to gear and materia. From utilizing his strategy, I've noticed that Aerith tends to rush towards the boss for no particular reason unless you set her to do something.
Onto Hard Mode story.
