Yep, blew my mind. Extra inventory, they can fight with you, can be any part of the combat triangle, and you can dress them up. I mean geez, Ernest the Choco is my best friend at this point.
This makes me happy, I've been trying to find pictures or videos of all the bardings in one place but the closest I get is each barding goes to a separate page. Love this.

I've been wanting to make a site dedicated to chocobo barding and mash ups. I'm all about keeping my chocobo stylish. I have all barding but egg helm and racing one . (One day) but unless I missed it you didn't put mogstation or event barding. Thats addition 10 bardings missing.
Great video. It's too bad we don't have a little more freedom in the barding elements. Like some are fantastic but then are ruined (imo) by some huge gaudy attachment somewhere on it. Right now I am using Bozjan with a grand company mask and it's alright but I hope to upgrade in the future. I wish the paladin set looked more like paladin artifact armor than a leveling tank set but I guess I get what they were going for.
I feel the same way, some of them are way too overdesigned. The Sleipnir barding would be awesome, but those horse legs sticking out the front just make it look ridiculous.
When my chocobo was lavender, it looked great in the Sophic barding. Ice barding was another fave. Now it is ash grey and I swap between the Diamond and Zurvan bardings. Started playing again recently after not being in since 2015. Couldn't remember how tf I got my Behemoth barding and now I realize it was just from buying the collectors edition.
Video is missing the mogstation bardings, egg harness, paramour barding and starlight barding, although i see you wrote it in the description it should be atleast in parenthesis on the title.
@@blessingstanly9221 you're right. i got it from progressing through the story haha... i also just got the car from 12 hours of grinding on the casino place :D Regalia is such an amazing car hahaha not good music tho but still amazing car :D
@@clntmagee I think half the problem is they can't be dyed so some colors will clash with the Chocobo's color. Also there is a lack of... simple, non gaudy bardings. Like I'm kinda surprised there isn't a "Taveler's Barding" - thats just a big saddlebag, (like you find on the Raincoat) with a sleepingbag/blanket.
@@-DeScruff Actually yeah. I'm a human warrior kinda guy, and I would be instantly sold on the regular adventurer barding. At the same time, the fact that most of these options are available in game, and not through purchase, makes them look 5x better to me.
