Especially now with the glowey tome weapons, it basically is just a 4 man ultimate. Hope they continue this, as I’m much more interested in this than normal Savage and Ultimate content haha

The mechs don't actually seem that bad. I guess it is an endurance test like ultimate though.

@@JJBCrimsonKnight The mechanics are identical to regular Criterion. The catch is that unlike regular Criterion, Savage Enrage is sooner, everything tends to have more HP, and you can’t raise period. If someone dies it’s normally just a wipe. The fact they were so far ahead in DPS is because of a combination of how extremely well they played until the slip up at the end, Crit RNG really blessing them, and their gear stats being maxIL at this point.

hint: the closest to the middle crystal will tell you all the safe spots

Well savage did give glow and upgrade weapons but still normal need to give better reward

Yep! Endwalker has added 3 Criterion dungeons which are very difficult extreme-savage level dungeons. Mobs hit like trucks and have mechanics designed to kill you, and the bosses have enrages, on top of the mechanics you're seeing here... And that's just the NORMAL modes. The Savage version is the same dungeon, but everything has more HP, hits harder, and the dungeon as a whole has an enrage

good glamour being hard to attain is a good thing

​@@Jamrawk88not really because only a small percent of the player base do harder content, so you're hurting more than 80% of the people that pay a subscription. I agree that if you do hard things you have to receive a special reward, but nowadays people that do harder content have too many unique glamour that they can get but casuals only have to stick with relic weapons that sometimes aren't even as cool as a savage tier glamour. I like the way that Guild Wars 2 handle this. In order to get the most badass weapons you have to rely on crafting and achievements. It's very time consuming but casual players can get it, without having to do a raid.

@@aykan5621 Adding rewards for content people don't do doesn't "hurt" anyone. It just adds more incentive to stop being scared/lazy and go do it yourself.

@@Jamrawk88 Not everyone has the time to sink in those hours of learning and attempts. Atleast, have a crafting alternative, where you can craft it slowly and not just have to do a single sitting sweat fest

All plugins violate the TOS and can get you banned, it's just that SE generally can't detect it. So don't talk about it in the in-game chat, show it when streaming on Twitch, or share images on social media that clearly connect your character name with plugins.

The average casual player always has something to do while hardcore midcore players get stuck with the same savage tier for months at a time. Like boohoo i guess? there is nothing stopping you from trying harder content. just yourself. go play fall guys or something

You know this also came with an "average player" (will refer to as casual below) friendly variant dungeon, right? And every patch comes with a casual friendly dungeon, all savage raids since HW have a casual friendly normal mode variant, all extreme trials have a normal mode variant. If you haven't done the deep dungeon, there's that. Alliance raids are casual friendly. Aside from Ultimates, I think every piece of hardcore battle content in this game comes with a normal version, and some normal battle content does not receive a hardcore version. What exactly are you complaining about? Are you mad that hardcore content exists at all?

it seems “dead”? We have a ton of people playing and more diverse content than ever.

@@deProfundisAdAstrano, you gotta understand that people who don’t do the same type of content as madhatter don’t actually count in player statistics. You are only ever allowed to enjoy one style of content in this game and can never diversify what you do (I am being sarcastic)

@@SleepyPitou the expansion has been terrible for battle content compared to shadowbringers and stormblood and can be criticised for it lol sure you may enjoy island sanctuary or the new relic "grind." But variant dungeons and criterion were underwhelming and no where near as replayable or rewarding as Eureka or Bozja. Just like how some players want to just come on and craft all day, some people want to come on and raid all day or some people want to RP or play the story, there are people who want to do battle content and don't want to be forced to do the same raids or roulettes everyday.

While the game is not dead, this criterion will be by the end of the week due to also having a rewards problem, and savage criterion still has no pf scene, because very few people want to do the same thing they already did, but this time any mistake wastes 20 minutes of your time now. It needs a level of consistency that can only really be found in a static, but unlike ultimates, it has nothing new or fun in the fight itself, so nobody wants to pf it, even with the shiny weapons. Kind of sucks since normal mode criterion is actually pretty fun.

It's dead for me honestly.
