The stack marker thing is such a weird thing to avoid, I remember doing this in e8s with the 2player stack, my war jumped in leaving me behind and I jumped in after him and neither of us took damage. In diamond weapon too, you can walk out of the stack when youre the target and not take damage from it. Have not been able to replicate it since.

Im taking notes on that PotD clip. That was so damn smart. You cant take the raising with you into the next set so might as well do that if you have extras i guess.

Our raid lead just posted this in our server and got another angry reaction from our NIN (Hi, it's Diantheris, BLM from the 4th clip!) I'll give a bit of context for what we've established to be the reasons behind why the stack missed; the group raids on the NA servers, however I play from the EU meaning i typically use slightly adjusted builds to work around the weird ping inconsistencies. On that pull, the rotation had slipped behind just barely enough to delay placing down of Ley Lines to get full value between mechanics, and i wanted to try greed to get them out (if i died, then it only really effected me as we werent on enrage yet, and there would be enough down time before a mechanic that it wouldnt effect anyone else). Finally, Aetheric Manipulation, the BLM jump to ally, has you move incredibly fast, and had been known to disjoint some attacks in earlier fights (its possible for them to do so with another beam later in the tier as well), which probably makes it also possible to do with MNK's Thunderclap, and maybe NIN/DRG. Because of the combination of all these aligning perfectly, the game snapshotted the beam's damage at the initial location, after movement had begun and with how fast the movement was, no one was inside the area anymore
