Definitely feels like something he would've put out. It sounds more in place for RA1 imo but I can imagine it in C&C1 too

What does the mechanic do normally?

@@windwafernow149 The intended way to resolve the mechanic is to have players take turns stepping into the wall and cleanse their debuffs. each time they touch is pulses damage off the player that other players must soak (stack marker) they must space these apart as it gives a 2 second magic vuln to all players when soaking, the bug is that when the debuff timer expires, the debuff falls off rather than kill/damage down/whatever occurs so the braindead strat just had people take advantage of the fact that the walls of the arena was bleed rather than death wall and wait out the mechanic in it. they confirmed in a lodestone post that this was a bug and are working to hotfix it as soon as possible and ask that we do not use this as a tactic

Yup. I am optimistic about fight design going forward if they put out more like this extreme here.
