Just a quick video of how I (personally) prefer to resolve the mega-cursed meteor pattern (NE & SE, or NW & SW). You can stutter earlier, on the 1st meteor to give more room on the back-end, but I kept blowing 1/2 up doing that (only so many opportunities to try though). I have a musician's brain, so the rhythm of meteors dropping helps me pace myself.
I'm by no means claiming that this is "the best" way, or a "failproof" way to resolve the mechanic, but this is what helps me resolve it with the biggest chance of success, and in my opinion is better than YOLO'ing it, like I used to do.
