@@qxOSplyntOxp I finished it. I'm just suggesting when Zodiark had souls sacrificed to summon him, some of that power could have been stored in a "fathercrystal" for lack of a better term.

whats this about a void shard? idr that being mentioned during MSQ

​@@mewe0 It’s a part of the crystal tower alliance raid series’s story, and loosely mentioned in the HW trial series. It’s basically a shard overflowing with darkness that failed to be rejoined to the source. Once it overflowed, it can never be re-joined, and thus a shard of Zodiark’s power is forever sealed away. This would’ve happened in SHB if you didn’t save the world from being overflowed with light. The cloud of darkness is from the void shard, as well as all manner of voidsents (the avatars the reaper uses).

@@mewe0 The void is the thirteenth shard that the ascians failed to rejoin with the source so it's a literal world of darkness. This is mentioned in both crystal tower and Shadowbringers.

@@regi4791 The flood of light would have still resulted in the First being rejoined, the thirteenth didn't because they weren't aware that they needed to facilitate a similarly aspected calamity in the Source for the shard to be absorbed.

Unless the terraforming of the Void is successful eventually. But that would require Zodiark to have survived that long. I think he even has 7 circles on his body denoting his missing pieces.

His skill at the game aside, most of the attacks are pretty intuitive if you've been playing for years.

is that something that can be controlled? I finished endwalker, so I wasnt spoiled. im just curious.

Pretty much they have more materials than usual. EW is just too different from the rest of the game despite the references.

@@cb6667 Imagine having such a garbage opinion. There are plenty of people out there who joined for or after Endwalker who wouldn't be at this point and won't be for a while. It's common courtesy to not intentionally spoil a thing a week after it's out.

Did we? I was under the assumption that whatever the noise was that signalled the final days would be the final boss based on what was spoken about in shadowbringers

Eh not rly, when they said it was going to be a surprise and they were teasing plot twists I and some others immediately guessed Zodiark was not going to be the final villain.

@@GalaxiaKnightX after we fought anima as a dungeon boss I knew zodiark wouldn’t be the final boss. But I was also sure he’d be the second trail so it’s not like I was right lol

Or if out of melee you can stolesow and it doesn’t interrupt the cast

It took me over 3 hours to clear my groups kept wiping no matter what I felt so unlucky that day

First group wiped till vote to end. Next group I just slap a sticker on my PLD, and after a few wipe they realized maybe they should follow me and finally get the clear. Great challenge and immense satisfaction (Thank them for the commendation)

well Zodiark still need a few more rejoining to be complete, hence the broken sections of his design I guess

Well for Game of Thrones it didn’t worked well for the last season.

It honestly didn't work for me. I would have liked much more to have Zodiark and Hydaelyn as the main bad guys alongside Zenos and Fandaniel, like YoshiP, Ishikawa and all the promotional and Pre-Patches told me were going to be, than M.Night Shyamalaning and pulling a literally FF9 Necron but as a nihilistic teen.

@@ChristopherG1990 Come on dude, don't give me that crap. Meteion was never hinted. At all. It came out of such left field that not even SE could give am answer as to how she came to be, as we spend like 3 or 4 quests just going around talking with people just for them to tell us, literally "·We don't know, Meteion suddenly appeared next to Hermes one day" Much less the extra magic source which runs on feelings. And no, don't even dare saying "But Limit Breaker!"

@@taigaaisaka6305 they mentioned something caused The Final Days back in Shadowbringers, that a sound came and suddenly beasts were running around causing the final days which led them to summoning Zodiark which led them to becoming enthralled. I’m sorry if that hint went over your head. Basically story telling, A led to B led to C leads to where we’re out now. It wasn’t out of left field if they out right say “Something caused the final days, we don’t know what it was, and we summoned Zodiark to fix the world and became enthralled which led to the events of A realm Reborn, Heavensward, and so on because the Ascians were obsessed with summoning Zodiark since they were enthralled.

I had no issue with the fight mechanics everyone else did. Took 3 groups to beat it for me that fight was so easy for BLM uptime

Bruh as someone who ran everything apart from savage content (yet) and having gone through the entire story, you can tell who the casual players are for sure. Running the timer out on zodiark was when I realised a decent size of the playerbase doesn't actually REALLY know how to do half the mechanics. Pure pain, but fuck I had fun either way

@@gorraiya man yeah I was like these mechanics are easy I was very annoyed 2 groups of mine ran out of time. I swear I was top dps by a few miles

@@inuclearpickle8628 it’s a lvl 83 trial, no need to be so egotistical. I’m sure there’s been mechanics that were easy for others and harder for you to understand at one point.

@@paradonyx7987 only two mechanics I didn’t understand on the first try it was teathered stars and the rotation of the platform because I felt too focused but by the time I looked at it a second time on both I got it and explained things going on but it took me over 3 hours of groups wiping to mostly the stack marker mechanic and the two the phase where it mixed the half room aoes and cones. Hard not to be little grated after so many wipes on the first trial of an expansion and trying to get it done before work that day I’m use to people being able to figure out mechanics by usually 6th try and after explaining what happened to the group
