Admittedly I would have liked them to be playable over Hrothgar but I can see why. The facial models look like even more of a pain to work around. However, at the same time they have such an interesting history when broken down. Not hard to see why they have their fans.
Would it be possible to do a video on the possible relationships between Azeyma, Azem, and Azim of the steppes lore and where they may overlap? I'd love to see that, though I realize at some point around 8 months from now, we may get some tidbits once Aglaia is complete.
Unfortunately any kind of video I make involving that would be pure theory crafting. Their are no solid connections between them aside from their names and association to the sun, so without any real data I'd be shooting into the dark.
@@SynodicScribe I don't think that's necessarily a bad thing. You could make a special lesson of sorts, perhaps.. Speculative History and Aetherological Conjecture with Synodic Scribe - a short lecture to present and stimulate discussion of various theories, thesis and avenues of future investigation. Sounds like a lot of fun to me!

I wonder if you’ve ever considered going into detail on the origin of FF references in XIV and showing them in their original context. (The FF5 level checkers for example) Obviously the usual framing of this channel/videos doesn’t allow this, or you may not be interested, but I was just curious. Either way, great video as usual!
I have recently been researching the far continent of Merycydia and heard of an oddity known as Ben-Ben. I know not anything about this phenomenon, other than that it is a “mound of myth upon a pyramid”. I wouldn’t ask for a whole lecture on this, but do you yourself know anything of such a creature? Another great video as always professor. With that in mind what dost tho have planed for next one? The history of another nation? The tails of some of garlamolds most Influential leaders? The secrets of the illuminati and alexander ? Or how about your own personal tails on how ended up becoming a teacher in Sharlayan (Don't tell the forum, but I feel most professors here aren't exactly interested in forming bonds with their students.)
Honestly, I plan on covering all of that stuff eventually. It's just a question on what to tackle next. My personal story is one I've been working on ever since I passed 10k subs since they were asking for it. Maybe one day I'll get the courage to tell it. haha

From their place of birth, to the discipline they take up and even their relationships with the scions. To add to that as you mention you where there for 1.0 to the birth of ARR. Something the larger majority of the community cannot vouch for .

Garo... makes me wonder what the connection is between that name and the current (returned ^.^ ) GARO PvP event... That priest, where you get the armor from isnt exactly forthcomming with information... aaaaand I dont know anything about the TV series ^^° Seems some sort of Power Rangers, the japanese version...
Dunno why, but something about the lupin always felt out of place. Not to mention the alpha/omega thing isn't a think amongst wolves, they're simply parent and children. But games still perpetuate this myth and it just kinda annoys me a little bit. Great video as always though!
True. There's a dominant/leader like role in almost every social enviroment regardless of the creature, it's not exclusive to wolves. But that doesn't make the Alpha Wolf idea any less entertaining to people. lol
I dont like Nunh and Tia for that reason and it's true the out of place thing, I think it was because before reaching SB there was a lack of animal humanoid Npc, actually when I saw the lupin I was expecting tribe quests or something. Hroth didnt happen until ShB iirc so yeah it was strange to see these type of NPCs as part of society
@@SemekiIzuio Which is genius, imo. It illustrates perfectly how "Beast Tribe" is a political designation. You got these animal-looking folk perfectly coexisting with the "civilized" races is a slap in the face of what we think we know. It shows that conflict is not inevitable, and we're led to grapple with our own biases that "beastfolk" equals savage.
@@TheSuperRatt I mean ARR had beastfolk that didnt get beast tribes so its obviously handpicked selected few, like the the rat thing kokoroons and the lizard things in bronze lake or in BLU questsline npcs so no SB lupin wasnt the first example. I just would have liked to helped out the Lupin find their paths helping Doma as bodyguards once more or maybe give them new meaning in life by being a working benefactor in the villages. I guess the closes was that one questline in Namai
You know, Dungeons & Dragons has a race called the Lupin. They're a race of dog men too. I say dog men instead of wolf men because calling a lupin a wolf man is a dire insult.
One other weakness of their powerful bodies is their great appetite. Lupin need to eat a lot of food to keep their strength up. I've seen a lupin eat a meal fit for three elezen and still have room for dessert.
@@madambutterfly1997 Yeah crossover content isn't guaranteed to be canon for obvious reasons. The only crossover that has any chance at being considered canon is the Nier Raid.
